Too much noise - please install noise baffles. Waiters were brill, but one more waiter could have made our experience very pleasant as they were short-staffed. Food was great.

I’ve been going here all the time, it’s always a good experience. But this recent visit, the service was so slow. No waiters to attend orders and took ages for the food. Portions of some dishes got a bit smaller.

I went for sashimi but they can order plate with sushi. I told them I don't want those bad quality sushi and their rice too dry to enjoy. Hope they can only service plate of sashimi. But they can't, can only have sashimi and bad quality sushi plate. Even at my third plate, their sashimi reduce from 8 to 6 pieces nigiri sushi(at least some sashimi on top) reduce from 5 to 2 and more bad sushi. very unhappy with this force eating things I don't like

No mention on the website that one can not do the “All you can eat” they are known for. I walked out with no dinner. Won’t return even with others, which I’ve done before. Terribly disappointing experience.

Good was good but very busy so service was a little slow.

Felt for the staff who were understaffed but did an amazing job trying to keep up.

To be honest no problem with the waiting times as one poor girl was doing the whole upper floor and it was jammed. Very noisy because it was jammed but no rowdiness, just lots of people talking.

Food was good, but service was poor. Inadequate staff means service was slow and staff was extremely stressed and overwhelmed. Management needs to improve this basic requirement in a restaurant.

Food was good as usual, consistent as always. But the manager at Okami Camberwell has changed. The previous manager was great - she always took super care of us, was kind and very service oriented. The service today was terrible - the new manager was rude and surly. How did someone like that get appointed to manage a restaurant? Just doesn’t have the personality to be customer oriented. Firstly, we had ordered the fried rice without egg for my 96 year old Dad who is vegan. When it arrived with egg, he kept insisting it could only come with egg. 2ndly, when he was clearing away the empty plates, he knocked over my Dad’s walking stick - didn’t bother to apologize or pick it up. We will never go back there again. Pls have a proper & better process for appointing your Retaurant managers as they are important for your business

I’ve been to OKAMI Camberwell a few times and the food ? Delicious! But tonight it is about the service. The staff are all friendly and lots of smiles but we had orders arriving very late, forgotten and incorrect order. We had all of them tonight. I’ve seen busier times and the service was splendid. Tonight I don’t believe it was as busy but I may be wrong. Out of the near 8 times I’ve dined at OKAMI, tonight is definitely the first time. Tonight’s experience does not discourage me at all. I will go back again!

Good good however the upstairs room was very very noisy so it was hard for us to have a conversation.

Under staffed, the service was very slow, but good food.

The food was really good, when it arrived. They seemed to keep losing our food orders. Our drinks arrived promptly, however I had to keep following up our food. There was food ordered that still did not arrive after our 2 hour seating had finished. Caulfield was much better.

Last Sunday is Father Day. It is very busy. The staff are friendly and quick. The service is fantastic. We come back a few times at Camberwell. We love it.

Been here many times. Feels menu needs a refresh. Good food still but it's getting a bit boring. karage chicken was fried too old and hard to bite sadly. Tofu was amazing though!

Sorry about the noice level, we had a table with 8 young men and the level of noice was high. I have been here many times and this is the first time we have had this situation

Service is very slow and orders do not arrive unless you ask numerous times. Bill comes and we are given someone else’s bill for a group of 2 more people than we had with cocktails on it. Finally had it sorted. Won’t be back.

It has gone downhill since COVID. smaller meal portions and not as flavoursome

It was great, maybe, some traditional Japanese food, like fish and vegetables could be included. Overall, great food and service.

We came to OKAMI thinking of bringing 30 guests with us at a future occasion. We waited for 25 minutes for one serve to be delivered. The waitress realised there was a delay and followed it up but the wait continued. While we waited some residue on a plate congealed to a grease blob. We will not be returning

Attentive service. Food came out fast and all satisfactory. Wouldn't say premium but great value and good taste. Definitely would recommend!

My wife and I visited Okami for the first time. The restaurant was full, and very noisy. The wait staff were working hard and the food was delivered quite quickly. There was a great range of very tasty food, and it was good to be able to order as many dishes as we wanted, including choosing the ones we really liked, several times. Overall the experience was good, and we decided to come again on a night when the restaurant wasn’t so busy.

Lovely attentive service, very quick too. My advice is to order a few dishes at a time and enjoy the flavours. Yummy food too!
