OKAMI Camberwell

My third visit to this outlet, this time with a group of 9 friends and everyone likes it. Courteous staff, move ambience, clean environment and of course good food, good value!

A big fan of Okami, dined at 6 different outlets in Melbourne. The quality and service are consistently good at all outlets.

Really good value and good quality! I especially like their salads, a few to choose from and all delicious!

A wonderful dining experience, food delish as always and a good location

We were sat at a table that was near the door to the hallway to toilet which was continually left open and the freezing night air came straight in and across our table. We had to get up and close it numerous times because the auto closer wasn't working. Would have been more pleasant without this continual distraction which made it quite uncomfortable. Feedback to the restaurant is either fix the door or don't use table 25 during winter until the door is fixed!

It was nice to revisit. I did book comfortable seats as this day I had a sore back and been recommended to sit in the booth, however we couldn't get it for a table of 2. It was unfortunate though as it's been in my requests and felt the needs of others or accessibilities and requests be better. I do hope more pure vegetarian options too the next time I visit. Won't be soon yet but maybe give it another chance at another Okami

I love the service here and the start is always very fast. It does get slower after the first round though. I do wish more pure vegetarian options with no eggs for the price

This is such a great place to go with the family! Everyone can have what they like. Our kids order sushi, gyoza and spring rolls, while we enjoy the teriayki beef, veggies and so much more!

The food was tasty with so much variety. Fast and efficient service too.

Still reasonable value for money, but not as good as 12 months ago. Some plates were served cold/warm when they should have been hot. Sushi platter was okay, but no tuna or king fish now, only salmon. Okami is not as good as it used to be. Still worth an occasional visit.

Amazing food and atmosphere. Music was nice and quiet, service was attentive despite everyone being super busy. Food was cooked to perfection. Overall fantastic efforts and experience. Highly recommend

It was a great experience. Loved the food very much. Service was fairly quick given that it was a Saturday night. Will definitely come back soon.

When they say 'all you can eat' they mean it! The menu has a great variety, the food is fresh and delicious, and the staff regularly check if you'd like to order more. Make sure you're hungry when you plan a visit! On a busy night it can be a little noisy, but it's OK.

We are frequent to oakmi and this time unfortunately is the worst of all. Entering the restaurant, it smelt like pee right away. Ordered dishes and a couple was not turning up after an hour and had to re-order. Waitresses were trying their best I could see, but the standard dropped so much they were so busy was just pushing dishes to the table instead of serving and placing down. They kept dropping empty bowls and sauce bowls the floor, shocking the restaurant with the loudest bangs. Cooling was on the whole time which was shocking and my poor hubby was frozen to death. If anything it needs to be heating? Steamed veges were a mush completely overcooked to the point they were translucent. Something was clearly off this time. This is not their normal standard but I have to admit, it's not a pleasant experience.

Food was great, service was ok we had to ask a few times for our drinks orders and glasses. Ordering on the tablet is a great idea, however we had several things on our table number that we didn't order and lucky we noticed otherwise we would have been paying for someone else's food and drinks, they need to make sure that ordering is more secure using the tablet.

Untrained staff, poor ordering system, slow food delivery & cold food to top it all off. Other Okamis have never been like this.

Great as always. It was attentive, fast ish which is acceptable anyways. We keep coming back!

they were severely understaffed, and we had to wait super long for our orders to arrive. there were dishes we ordered from when we arrived that finally arrived in the second hour of our dining time after we had to ask the waiters multiple times for the dish. I feel like we couldn't eat as much as there was a lot of waiting time with no food on our table.

Mother’s Day dinner out with family. It was first time for us at Okami Camberwell and very impressive. A flower for mother of the table was nice touch. Food was very delicious. Service was fantastic. We definitely go to Okami Camberwell again.

Crowded and a bit disorganised. The food was average. I know it is all you can eat but other franchises are better

The new ipad ordering system was really cool, and made ordering very easy. The food was also particularly good - the beef carpaccio had extra wasabi mixed into the Mayo that was just perfect, and the miso steak had more sauce than usual, which when paired with the leftover charcoal places, was delicious.

I have not come to Okami for a few years, today’s experience was fantastic. Improved ordering system, almost zero waiting time. My family is very satisfied. The only thing I like to see some improvement is the air con appears to be too cold for winter season.

First time there and will definitely go again. Hope to work through the menu and find some favourites.
