We were surprised at having a queue for our dining time but the food and service were great and the menu offered so much delicious food to choose from. We really enjoyed our dinner.

Food was fantastic and amazing value for money. Most service was rushed and awkward. Most waiting times were fine, but some dishes took excessively long to come out.

Everything was lovely except for the timing , we had a 7:45 pm booking and at 8:45 pm they came and told us it was time for the last order and that they closed at 9:30pm - had to rush our food .

We enjoyed the meal and the variety pleased everyone, 1- 9 yr old 1 - 12 yr old, 1 -13 yr old, 1 50 yr old and 1-74 yr old and a 76yr old. Something for everyone. Staff very attentive and seemed happy to be working there. Regards, Jenny

Food and service was great. But I booked for 2 people 3 weeks before would have thought our table would have been at the front instead down the back with families and kids

was am amazing experience, I couldn't recommend this place more, for singles, couples and families even with children.

They serve the hot food very cold. We ask to be remake it for us but it took so long that we decided to leave.

It took 45 minutes for my starter meal to come out. Food was great but service very poor - not enough experienced staff.

We love Okami, but find the $10 corkage to be a bit steep. $5 would be more reasonable. Cheers Lesley

After many people telling us that Okami Ballarat was great, we found the opposite. Most of the meals arrived cold, and some didn't even arrive at all. The quality of the meats used, even though advertised as high standard, were low grade and not what we expected. Overall our visit was far from what we expected to celebrate our anniversary. We were dissapointed.

Restaurant wasn't that busy. Placed order, took 20 mins approx for first servings to arrive and it wasn't that much quicker for the next 3-4 serving, plus they didn't serve a few dishes ordered. Meal size nothing like the pictures. Apparently photos show a serving for 3 or more people. So we got half portions because only two of us. Never going to the Ballarat Okami again.

Food was delicious as always and it was the first time bringing the kids. They loved it, trying over 9 dishes.

Great food and service, the only thing that ruined the night for us were several annoying toddlers and babies screaming and squealing. The noise from those things was quite painful at times.

Best ever experience at a restaurant ever. And our first time trying Japanese food. We cannot wait to cone back!

The staff were all friendly, and even though the restaurant was almost full the noise level was low.

The staff are friendly and attentive when we ask for more food. Delicious fresh options, we love it!
