Great service, an amazing variety of food - an overall pleasurable evening.

Pleasantly surprised. The food quality was exceptional and tasted amazing. The service was friendly and even though the restaurant was packed the food arrived fast and hot ( or cold for those dishes that should arrive cold). Excellent value, I would definitely recommend a visit.

Great Service Great Choice of Food But definitely need Heating we were sat by a cold air vent and no heating in the place for customers accept for staff at the front counter. Middle of winter in Ballarat not good. Would of given 5 star if we were warm and cosy. Table was wobbly and tiny and uneven put my hand on the table to get up and the whole thing nearly. Tipped over . Had no nice sauces to dip your food in . Godd value for $32 Wouldnt go back in winter or a cold day .

This was our first visit here after many people recommending it to us. We were impressed with the food but very very disappointed with the service. I understand it was busy but that it no excuse for us to have to wait 45 minutes for a drink (after we had to check on this twice), to have to ask 3 times for a certain food dish, to have to try and get a waiters attention to clear empty dishes from our table as they were running past and even to get a fork for a few of us on the table took 10 minutes and then one of us having to go up and try and get them. We felt like we were an inconvenience to be there. There were 9 or us for family dinner and i would have expected to be treated with more respect than us have to try and get the waiters and never have them approach our table. Really disappointed with the service very different to the experience i thought we would have had.

Excellent restaurant with great food ( also vegan and vegetarian friendly). Quick service even in busy times by efficient and friendly staff. Set price menu however with unlimited servings of anything on the menu ( Very good variety available to suit all palates ). Highly recommended.

Good variety of food selection, friendly staff, good portion sizes and clean venue. Food flavour and texture was great. A little slow on service at times and multiple staff asking if we are ready to order within a minute of each other. Menu is entree heavy in regards to Japanese finger food. Bowls were removed from the table but not returned with clean ones and an assumptions of chopstick use as had to ask for cutlery. Great place and would definately return overall.

This is the 4th Okami restaurant I have dined at and I can confidently say that it is my favourite. Could not fault the food or the service, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. My only issue was that we ordered 2x Miso Soups and they never came, but we ate so much other food that it wasn't a big deal.
