Munich Brauhaus - The Rocks

Good service and interesting decor and atmosphere. There are heaps of drink options to chose from but not a lot of variety in the food options.

Whenever I get to Sydney, I always try and get to the Munich Brauhaus - The Rocks. Great food, wonderful atmosphere, and fast courteous service. See you next time.

Great service, great food, pleasant atmoshere. Was about our tenth work lunch, a treat.

The food was grate, the music very nice only a bit loud for us (we seated very close to the music). Would be nice if there is a option on web when booking to choose where you want to seat

Food was great, service was ordinary, but was disappointed with reserved seating, as a couple we shared a table with another couple even though we were there 1st and there was more spare tables around.

Great venue with loads of atmosphere. Our waiter (Luis I believe?) was wonderful and friendly. However, we ordered fries as an entree, mainly to keep our 3yo satisfied, and they were forgotten about. A party seated next to us were served before we were. After bringing to the wait staff’s attention that our entree was still missing, our chips were brought out with our mains 15/20 minutes later. Husbands pork belly was perfect, my pork knuckle was average as it was a little dried out. Our 3yo’s meal was completely forgotten about and even after asking about it twice, it never came. One waitress deliberately ignored us as we tried to get her attention to enquire after the child’s meal. We ended up leaving without our child having a meal, just grazing on chips and his parent’s mains. We’d give it another go and chalk this up to a bad experience.

Firstly it started raining, we had booked a table and they said sorry but we have no other tables for you. We found a table and they took our number from our table 5x without getting our whole order. They weren’t fussed if we had a seat or not or if we ate or not..lucky the food is good or I wouldn’t go again

We had a great experience, the food, the crowd, the entertainment. The Brauhaus does well to cater to such a big crowd. It really was a fun atmosphere. I usually try to find deals for dining in the city and darling harbour but was happy to pay full price for the experience we had yesterday evening.

food is good... slow service... service manager rude... worse part is asking tips after rudeness... plus 10 percent mandatory surcharge.. amazing...

We had an enjoyable dinner during the Vivid Sydney 2019 however we didn't give more as I feel the restaurant didn't cater very well for a person with a wheel chair. In the booking did make mention however there were limited tables. We had a spot but felt crowded in as we were at front by the cash register. Also bathrooms are downstairs and not easily accessible for wheel chairs. The young staff are as helpful as can be in a busy restaurant. One young lady went out of her way to find a straw so my friend could drink his wine which we thought was very kind.

We had a booking and were shown to our seat. We were served but not given any cutlery and had to ask. One of the girls waiting on us kept trying to give us wrong order. We eventually got our order and it was lovely. When we tried to pay the same girl kept getting sidetracked and clearly needs more training

Excellent. Great atmosphere. Happy hour was brilliant and food delicious. Staff very helpful and couteous. Will be back.

Waiters are prima-donnas, you wait and you wait, until you start to whisle( loudly) to get an attention,still not good enough!!!! You start chasing them! And for what? Sausages from delicatessen corner shop. Hmmmm... Not the same as it was under Lowenbrau flag.

Been there many times in the past, but this was certainly very ordinary. The whole experience not like previous times. Service slow, my wine glass dirty, no ice in drinks, meal warm not hot.

Food was good and a generous serve. Entertainment was a nice touch and provided a fun atmosphere. Beers were good too but a touch expensive. A good night out for about $85pp.

Fun vibe and a good place for parties or groups. Is extremely noisy so don't go if you want a quiet romantic dinner. Food was ok but the beer was great.

The service and atmosphere at Munich Brauhaus was great. The portion sizes of the food were average. Not what you normally would expect in a Brauhaus.

Wonderful ambience, delicious food, filling serving portions, wonderful people, great service for 20 people inspite of being at extremely busy lunch time! Will definitely visit again!

We were very disappointed with the food & lack of service. The drinks order was wrong (my husband ordered the Non/low -Alcoholic beer as he was driving but received a full strength beer instead. I had one Schnapps as a taste but was never asked again during the meal if I wanted another drink we ordered a side of mash with one of the meals which never came & when given the option to pay a tip or not the waiter seemed quite surprised & put out that I chose not to tip. Won’t be back.

What an amazing atmosphere, this is a must do on the bucket list. The staff are amazing and food is to die for. Also entertainment is included with this wonderful establishment. Thank you so much for the amazing experience and memories. We will decently be coming back again.

Love the Bavarian platter, and Munich draught... The place is alive, with groups families... The ambiance is of travellers Inn. Right in the heart of Sydney....

We had a sharing platter which had a combination of meats, pork knuckle/pork belly/sausages/schnitzel etc. It was for 2, but we shared amongst 4 and then had the wonderful apple strudel
