We had a great night, good atmosphere. Friendly staff, thank you
We loved how clean it is, and very spacious. Friendly service with good sense of humour. We didn't even notice the wait time for the food to arrive therefore it mustn't of been long at all. Definitely will recommend it.
Visited for my mothers birthday as this use to be her favourite restaurant. The food wasn’t cooked as it use to be. And when ordering the chocolate mousse I noted that it was a birthday celebration but the Montezumas team didn’t bring out the dessert and sing happy birthday like they use too very disappointing as this was a surprise for mum
Amazing atmosphere, great music, awesome interior design at the location. There were a few mistakes with our meals (two wrong meals and a third meal was missing an extra), but overall, the food was still nice and very fresh. Overall, the highlight was the cocktails and mock tails. Super tasty and amazing flavours. The entrees were amazing as well, with the jalapeño poppers been a family favourite. Recommend that everyone attend at least once for the experience and atmosphere. We will be going again!
We had a great meal, the new location is so much better than the old, and the food was the usual top quality.
Enjoyed the food only did not realise the restaurant closed at 2.00pm. As our booking was for 1.00pm it only gave us an hour to eat and catch up with friends. 2.00pm was a bit early to actually close the restaurant I thought. The staff were friendly and helpful as well so no complaints there.
Good tasting food. Very pleasant atmosphere. Friendly and helpful staff.
I have always loved the tucker at Montazumas. I’m glad the restaurants are still around. The combo meals are great and a good few options for my 3 year old
Arrived close to kitchen close time and still received excellent service and food.
The corn chips were thin and very oily, mains were pretty good. Service was a bit slow and their eftpos machine looked like it was broken…seemed a bit dodgy.
We had a lovely young lady with dark long hair, (sorry I didn't get her name) provide us with great customer service.
I ordered a combination #7 beef enchilada meal. The only complaint was that the chilli con carne was very bland and appeared to be too watery. Being an a la carte chef by trade, a touch of salt during the cooking process followed by draining some of the moisture from the dish would have made it an awesome meal all round. The front staff were extremely professional, friendly and helpful. I couldn’t fault their service. My wife and granddaughter thoroughly enjoyed their meals.
Great to get back to Montezuma's. Loved the venue. Just a little hiccup with the order but was compensated by a discount. Still great outing.
Quick, very good service. Very polite young staff. Food was amazing. Highly recommend trying this place!
Food’s ok, but the new premises makes it feel like you’re eating in a busy lunchtime food court. Hard wall, floor and ceiling surfaces make for an incredible din. Not particularly conducive to sticking around longer than the foods there.
The restaurant is obviously new and the service was ok but it seemed like there was a lack of enthusiasm to provide service The meals are presented well and are tasty but are very small for the price. Coronas served in a Mexican restaurant without lemon or lime ?
The food was fantastic, the service was excellent and the restaurant was impeccably clean. I only have one “whinge” and that is that you need to bring your own cushions especially if you have bad backs. If they could provide these…. My favourite restaurant for several decades and the Sangria is to die for.
Food lacked flavour, waited over 45 mins, main came out before the entree. They were understaffed and felt sorry for waitress. Got some of our order wrong. Terrible experience. They were too worried about getting takeaway orders out over serving diners. The restaurant is loud and lacks any cozy feel. Nothing like the old Montezuma in Mt Gravatt. Would not rush back.
Always a good Mexican food & warm & friendly service. X x
