Montezuma's - Albany Creek

Whilst the service was good and the staff were friendly, unfortunately the quality of the food was average. We have been to Montezumas in the past some time ago and had not returned because the food was stodgy and rather tasteless. Much to our dismay this is still the case, although they have updated their menu it still does not deliver on some fresh and spicy flavours. Won't be back for a while again.

Fantastic food and great service my husband had the meat balls and I had the nachos ... what can we say but yummmmmy we will be back ... they must have a new chief and boy they can cook delicious best Montezumas in Qld !!!!

Service was quick and the food was fresh and plenty of it. Very clean and relaxed place to eat. Sangria was very tasty. overall outstanding. Lovely people as well.

Great night out. Clean restaurant, delicious food and friendly staff. No long waits. My daughter had a great birthday dinner. Well done, we’ll come again.

Food was excellent! Best Mexican around we think. The food was hot , fresh and tasty. Service was really good as well which made for a great night.

Meals were lovely, table service very efficient and fast. The 3 young ladies that we engaged with were delightful and a credit to your organisation.

A great selection of food. The combination of chicken and beef enchiladas with beans and Spanish rice was a standout. The service was quick even on a busy Saturday night.

This was our third visit to Montezumas at Albany Creek, and we haven't been disappointed at all. The service is prompt and friendly, the food is fresh and tasty. Nice quality corn chips (hate the cheap ones used by Pepes) . We will happily continue to visit as our main restaurant for eating out.

Excellent food. Service very good. Will be going back again and again. Great value for money. One of the best restaurants on the northside. Give it a go.

What a great night... haven't been to montezumas forever and it was great... good was delicious fresh and didn't have to wait long between dishes... friendly staff great prices will be going back... background music was a bit louder than it needed to be seeing as the restaurant wasn't overly busy....😎👍

Bright, colourful and decorative restaurant. Very friendly, cheerful and attentive service. Food was tasty and pretty good portions too. Great menu with lots of choice.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Although they managed to mix up two orders they also fixed them immediately. The food was delicious. Thank you.

We have been a regular patron of Montezuma Albany Creek since it opened. It appears to have been through a number of owners now. My meal, #31 San Francisco, which I always have (my favourite) was hot externally but cold internally. Very disappointing this time.

The new look and feel of the restrung is great and the food was amazing and very quickly brought out , will definitely be going again.

Meals where ok tried really hard to order a second round of drinks but not one of staff where interested or even asked if our meals where ok

Great service and excellent food, was our daughter in laws birthday and they bought out a dessert and Mexican Hat for her. It was very thoughtful and quite unexpected

The food was AMAZING! The service was impeccable couldn't fault them. FABULOUS! We'll definitely be back. For a family of 5 it was also very very reasonable. Love the fact when you have fussy eaters they're leaving the restaurant with full bellies. That to me is a winner in my books.

Food and service was good. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and food came out pretty quickly. I will be going to this restaurant again and i am sure it won't disappoint.

Great food and service. Best Mexican menu in the area. Love coming here for a family occasion. A little more salsa with the food would be nice. Air con struggled a little on a really hot day.

Service was wonderful our waiter was lovely. Restaurant was spotless. Only downfall the food is only okay. I’ve been to other restaurants and the food was to die for. Not so much here unfortunately

Great atmospheres. Kids loved it. A wonderful night out for the family. Although very busy the staff were very attentive and bent over backwards to ensure we were all happy. Highly recommended for families.

Went to Montezuma's at Albany Creek for the first time last night, and were very impressed! Great atmosphere, and fantastic service. All staff members were extremely polite and friendly. The food was excellent, the bright Mexican décor is very enjoyable, and so is the South American music. It was obvious that the team members enjoy their jobs, and they certainly made the experience a very positive one. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and would go back. Apparently there has been a change of ownership in recent months.

Food was great, service was excellent. Went on Thursday night so was overly crowed, food served in good time and no load waits. Would recommend.

Fast service and great variety. Food was well presented and tasted great. Birthday dinner for self and friends and we were well looked after. Highly recommend

We decided to visit due to the new Vegan menu. We were not disappointed. Food was really nice and full of flavor. The poor guy on duty front of house was on his own and a bit overwhelmed so perhaps they need to look at staffing a bit better but cannot complain about his handling of some other rude customers.

Very happy with the food and service last few times we've been here. Montezuma's Albany Creek has definitely improved and will certainly be back .

The service was great , the food was perfect and big portions well worth the cost. kid friendly and the kids love the food. Would happily return again.

The table was ready when we arrived, including the high-chair that I requested, which was appreciated. The area was clean and very presentable. The staff were friendly and didn't rush us to make our choices. They were attentive when we stated our choices and the correct meals were prepared and served. The food and beverages were well presented and very much enjoyed. We enjoy going there for a special meal and will certainly return in the future.

Great friendly staff and relaxed environment, and really good food. Kids were all happy so that’s always a bonus. Would go back again some time.

Excellent customer service. Food was amazing. Very competitive with other montezuma restaurants that we've been to. We will definitely be going again in the future

The food and the staff were fantastic and friendly. Only one point dampened my evening and that was the sun hitting me right in the face for about 30mins as we were deciding what we wanted and waiting for our meal. I needed to wear my glasses inside in order to converse with my friends.

Back to a great standard of food and service! We’ll be back again for our regular Thursday night dinners with friends and family. Well done.

Honest feedback - vegan menu is awesome. The food was really really good. The food service was quite fast too which was nice. We got a booth to sit in - maybe make the lighting less intense because I felt like I was on a showroom floor instead of a restaurant. Bad stuff: we waited quite a while to be served at the counter when we arrived. We were seated and were given glasses but no water. No one came to take our drink order straight up - we had to flag someone down. We ordered and paid for coronas but were given Sol Beer. Overall pretty good but not as good as the old Kedron restaurant.

Great food as well as friendly & helpful staff. Frozen Margueritas just need a bit of extra blending & then they would be near perfect!

Montezumas is back and better than ever! We have already been 3 times in 3 weeks and the manager lady gave us a 30% off voucher to use for our loyalty !

Fantastic Vegan/vegetarian options. Extra hot sauce was offered by our friendly waitress which came separately. Awesome!

The new management at Montezumas are doing a great job. The décor is very engaging and the staff couldn't be more helpful. The variety and quality of the food is excellent. One small point is that the rice is cooked more like Asian rice rather than the Authentic Mexican rice which I prefer.

Was not happy with the cheese dip was cold and lumpy. And no wer near enough chips for them out of dip other wise good food

Friendly Staff and clean restaurant although they did make numerous mistakes in the orders but happy to fix. Great Mexican food 🥘 to be enjoyed by all.
