With a significant menu change we found it hard to order as our regular meals are now gone we find it insane that they no longer sell hard shelled tacos 😡 the beef also tasted different to what we are used to, will definitely question before going back again unfortunately
used to go here weekly but havnt been for a few months after 3 bad visits. food was ok ,bigger serves than previously but took a long time to come.Sangria was good. Visit was an imorovement so will return quicker than previously.
i want them to ve likw they were..staff are young and not great, food standard has dropped

My friend and I got the four tacquitos. I also got frijoles and she got guacamole and chips. The tacquitos were so dry we struggles to get through half of them. They were very under seasoned. My friend's guacamole was too salty to eat and was taken off her bill. We arrived at 6:30 and got out food at 7:30. Our sides arrived a bit after our meal. We tried to use the sides to moisten the beef to swallow it. Just before 8 my friend called over the waiter, a young man and he walked up and reached out for the plates and said, "Can I take these". She said no and asked for a takeaway container. Before he left the table he asked can I take the frijoles or the chips and guacamole. My friend said you can take the guac, but we hadn't a chance to get the takeaway box yet. When he brought the boxes, he waited at the table while we were trying to scrape into the container and asking if he could take stuff. I said please gives us a few seconds. He huffed, folded his arms and stood there watching us. It was awkward so I asked if he could go and come back in a few mins. He rolled his eyes and left. As soon as I'd put the plate on the table, he was back getting the plates and before he left said, "Are you guys going to pay?" We said yes shortly, so he went to the till and stood there. We were still closing our containers. We checked the time and it was 8pm so we realised he was trying to get rid of us. Lucky we didn't try to finish our meal. The restaurant was still full at this time as only two small tables had left. Extending the time to 8:30 and letting people know that you were closing in half an hour may have been a more polite way to treat guests who had spent money, especially considering we didn't get the meal before 7:30. I could see what he was trained to do and say but he didn't know not to loiter at the table waiting and didn't know how to word things. It was very strange service. I took my food home and mixed the meat with yoghurt, beans and cheese to eat the next day. As we left we discussed not coming back again. Bad food and bad service was just too much. On our previous visit we had great enchiladas and polite service.
Food was cold in the center plate was red hot. Will not go ever again.
2 of the 10 meals did not come we had to resubmit the order and at no point did a server come and ask us how our meals were or if we needed anything. Unfortunately hiring younger staff who have no training in hospitality shows in this occasion. My own meal did not arrive until everyone else had eaten and it was my Birthday. Most likely will not be going back.
We had a great family meal, there were some younger kids in the booth next to us that got quite noisy but that's to be expected for the time we eat dinner. We will be back

We go there every year and it was an excellent experience overall, as always.
We have going there for 8 years. We noticed there was all new staff , and the food was terrible couldn't even eat it. Won't be back.
We love Montezuma’s at Albany Creek. We found this visit to be pretty average. Meals took almost 50 minutes and were bland and luke warm. Service was friendly as always.

There was lots of large groups in the restaurant and this made it very noisy. Once our order was finally taken it took over and hour to come. The delivered one entrees that had been ordered and two children's meals. Then finally the mains came and there seemed to be confusion as to which were beef or chicken . They brought out an extra main meal which we hadn't ordered and had to be reminded of the two missing kid's meals. When they finally arrived one was wrong , it was a hard Taco instead of a soft Taco. The kid's meatballs were ok but the rice was very soggy and inedible. Most of the mains were rather bland and under seasoned. They only appeared to have the Manager , one cook and one wait staff on. .The wait person appeared to be learning how the restaurant worked and appeared to do a good job. Manager was very pleasant. Overall it was a very underwhelming meal for my son's birthday. The kids were very hungry waitingfor thir food . I honestly don't think we shall be going back .
Not as good anymore......didnt recieve what we ordered.......running dip .....waited forever just to get the corn chip and dip for starters......food dry and rice crunchy........quite disappointing overall

The food was delicious as always....Alice was very friendly and remembered us from a previous visit (even recalled our favourite drink). The rest of the Staff are also lovely.

We ordered online but the orders didn't go through and only two out of the 6 meals were delivered so we had to wait for the remainder of the order

Food was good, service was good too. I was skeptical about the online ordering system they’ve implemented, however paying at the end worked really well.
Food was lovely, staff friendly. Was encouraged to order meal using phone. Totally disagree with this. We refused was asked to give it a go. Refused again. Was able to order personally at the counter. We were going to walk out if we were unable to order through a staff member.
Food was good. Waited to be seated because Uber orders are more important? Were not offered any water and didn't get asked how food was afterward we paid.And we had no table service.Did everything on the app

No vodka in the bar is unacceptable! So no Espresso martini! Dessert delivered before main plates were cleared.
Change of managment and this resaturant has gone down the tubes. Service.. what service?- you order via your phone. Sangria was very ordinary- not like it was - it was missing multiple ingredianets. Prices have gone up a lot in 12 months....used to be a weekly visit..no longer.
Looks like the owners have restructured their operations and it's all running perfectly now. Well done!

The meal was excellent and the staff were very friendly and accommodating, especially as it was my son's 21st and we brought our own cake in. The only thing I did not like is that I had to either use a QR code or wait at the counter to place my order. I do not like the way restaurants like yours have gone to ordering through a phone. I find this very impersonal and defeating of the purpose of people getting together in a restaurant if they have to then sit on their phones . Please bring back proper table service.
