We order the duck dishes for 2 and everything is good and tasty
No music or talking but had to get up and find a toilet the one down stairs was both blocked
Love this authentic Chinese restaurant. Food is delicious and ambiance is awesome. The staff are lovely.
Food was gorgeous but too many customers and limited staff, causing waiting time to be too long ~1hr and we were just starving at the end.
We had a great time and certainly will be back.
Peking Duck was smoked which is not to my taste. It took over 30 min to get the 2nd lot of pancakes as they forgot to put the ticket to kitchen - duck was cold by the time we received them. The beans had an unusual taste so we didn't eat them. I am a foodie "love food Australia" - I decided not to do a review on this restaurant as it would have been a bad one.
Food was very good but wines on list were not available
Poor service, limited availability on menu, unclean and unserviced toilets.
Excellent food and good value for money. Peking duck was juicy and tender. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Nice spacious venue, staff quickly to attend. Peking Duck and prawn dumplings very good. Spring rolls nothing special, would not re order, crispy pork, was just that, very crispy, little meat. Complimentary soup from Peking Duck was nice. Yeah would probably go again, now that I am familiar with the dishes. Prices not to bad , good size dishes, 4 dishes and steamed rice $108.00.
Nice food. Excellent service. Unique decoration. Highly recommend. Will go again.
While the presentation of the food was good, I was not impressed with the taste. The dishes looked appealing, but the flavors did not meet my expectations.
Nicely renovated restaurant with tender Peking duck despite the skin being not crispy. Love the taste of fried noodle with duck meat even though it is a bit oily.
Great dancer entertainment. We loved the duck and fish. Would come again. A bit cold though, maybe next time turn up the heating?
Good atmosphere but not value money. Duck was mediocre at best.
food was excellent very friendly staff will be coming back again
Great service, food, atmosphere, and very accommodating in every regard
We had duck, fish and fried rice, the quality and service was excellent The only negative, the restaurant was a little bit cold inside
Foods were always very nice 🫰🏻 If the inside temperature could be warmer would be better ~
We are glad to have Moja Duck in the neighbourhood, and so are lot of other family groups. The menu offers a wide range of dishes (from duck to dumplings to chicken feet).
Good service and great tasting food. Can not fault any thing we ordered.
I came here after seeing this restaurant all over my social media. The hype is definitely over rated. Peking duck which is supposedly their signature was horrible. The duck skin was not crispy. The pancakes had an odd sweet note, tasted like coconut milk had been added. The home made hoisin sauce had a weird consistency and the flavour of everything was a little off. Most dishes were extremely salty. I would not recommend.
service very slow, not enough floor staff. pancakes for duck very soggy and stuck together. ordered one dish rhat never came
its okay , not bad, people nice, good food, good service
Fantastic food with really quick service. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. Will definitely be returning
The staffs are all nice, foods are perfect, would definitely visit again
Decent food, lovely vibe however customer service can be improved.
The atmosphere and food felt very authentic and the prices were affordable
中午去的 人不多 菜 和 环境 都 不错 推荐 大家去 !
Very happy with the dinning experience ✨ love the taste of the duck~ it is the type of flavour and texture I looks for 😛 will defo go again
Food and services was great will definitely go back again.
First, the tables outside were not very comfortable. Second, the food was not as good as expected. The xiao long bao were dry and had no broth at all. For Chinese food, it was really poorly made.
Very friendly staffs, interesting interior design, and food at good value.
Moja Duck is becoming a neighbourhood gem. It is wonderful to have a Chinese restaurant we can walk to, and lots of other families and groups seem to agree. We enjoyed their peking duck, sweet and sour pork and szechuan beans (again) and will be back again soon.
Great atmosphere, food and service was great and they had live music
The interior of the restaurant is awesome, matching with the food serve. We will come again but only one thing hope they can improve is the live music the young man performance is below average, hope it can be employ more experience singer to have more variety song, we went there 70% is because of Chinese live music that couldn't find many in Melbourne. Really looking that
The duck was good. Band that performed on the day was meant to draw crowd but unfortunately, was noisy for us.
Went there second time after a week, it’s good. Bare in mind lunch time kitchen closes at 15:00
There was music playing during Saturday evening and it made our evening on top of the delicious food and service
Moja Duck is a very welcome addition to the Parkville neighbourhood and we hope it thrives. Our family dinner (peking duck, sweet and sour pork, szechuan beans) was good and we will be back.
Great place and great food. would come again. service was excellent
Friendly staff, service was ok, but no one takes away the plate as you finishing. Take a while to wait for the roast duck. Probably still new and taking time to get the operation right.
