Great food. Fantastic. Quick service. Clean tables and great atmosphere
Beautiful Japanese restaurant with a huge menu that has so much variety!
Fresh and delicious! Definately need to visit again great local restaurant
Yeah we been there for the first time. We chooses “Feed Me” for All You Can Eat. We really love it all dishes delicious. They are very good servers much. Wonderful. Next time we go back again for sure.
Amazing as always! We did the Feed Me option which is great value
food has great varieties, delicious and good presentation, service is prompt, great comfortable atmosphere with good decor. good value for money for the all you can eat menu. and their happy hour lasts until 7:30 so we can still enjoy great price drink with our dinner.
First visit and there were 5 of us (3 adults , 1 teenager aged 12 and 1 child aged 8). Great food and right portion for big group or like us to share. However seems understaffed and it took a little bit of time to wait. Wrong bill and I had to tell them to correct it. It was overcharged. But staff amended it at once. Very good staff attitude. I will go again next time
Great value, especially any sashimi, carpaccio options. Mains are incredibly small, however with the discount, it is worthy. Interior decor is beautifully quaint.
Service was rather slow despite it not being busy. Food was quite disappointing for the cost.
Slow service to begin with, after waiting 25 min for our drinks order to be taken I approached the bar and asked if we could have our order taken. After this, the service sped up for the remainder of the night. Food good but not fantastic, especially for the cost. Maki did not seem as fresh as at other Japanese restaurants, perhaps it was pre-prepared earlier that day. Tempura batter was heavier than it should be. On the other hand, the salmon carpaccio was very tasty, as were the wagyu ball skewers and the smoked pork belly. A shame they were out of oysters, especially on a Friday night, despite the restaurant only being a quarter full. Was overpriced for what it was. Not sure we will be back. Might just head to Samurai or Ben K Sushi House in Hawthorn next time.
Fantastic food - absolutely delicious! Service seemed slightly disorganised and was a little slow, but was very friendly and helpful. Decent value given the exceptional quality.
Not bad. Dishes are amazing. Service was good. Just later stage the dishes come out slow
Terrific food. VG service. Will be back very soon. Outstanding
I found it to be a nice place and good vale
Really enjoyed it, but staff could pay more attention to taking orders in a timely fashion rather than thinking "I thought one of the other staff took your order" and not forgetting to bring one of the items to the table until we asked near the end of the meal
Love the Feed Me menu! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻Great value for the quality!
Cannot speak more highly of this Gem in Kew. Outstanding service & food. We will be back!
One of the best places in Kew. While it's a bit on the expensive side all the food is AMAZING so 100% worth it! Cocktails are great too
Delicious Japanese, lovely service reasonably priced! Will definitely be back!
The food was not exceptional, not worth the price at all!
Really enjoyed the food and wine at Miss Kasumi. Every dish that we ordered was delicious and well presented, using fresh ingredients. Will definitely come back again.
The food was fantastic. Amazing dishes. Service was great. We really enjoyed it.
Amazing food! We had pork belly, seared wagyu sushi, truffle chicken and loster tail, all were fantastic! friendly staff.
Lovely place with a great atmosphere, delicious food, and friendly service
We celebrated a 21st birthday at Miss Kasumi and had lovely cocktails, and sake, as well as delicious food. The salmon, umagi tamagoyaki and pork belly were especially good.
The food was absolutely delicious. We tried a variety of dishes. The Sashimi was extremely fresh. The atmosphere had a modern Japanese vibe. Unfortunately the service was lacking and not 💯 professional to match the rest of the experience.
Love it. Great food and service. One of my favs.
Loved it - especially the decor! Very quiet due to corona virus.
High quality food and the atmosphere was great. However, we waited for almost 10 minutes for a waitress.
We had the feed me menu and the dishes were really nice. The dish presentations were excellent. The service was good as the waiters were polite and attentive. The only downside were the desserts. I will certainly come again for the starters and main courses not so much if you love desserts. Fortunately I am not a dessert enthusiast . If you love dessert go elsewhere.
Great food and nice ambience. We really enjoyed the meal.
Was lovely! Was a busy night but overall we were really happy with the food and service 😊
We had a lovely time and the food was delicious.
Good service and very tasty food. We particularly liked the salmon carpaccio.
We had a reservation for 8 and arrived there shortly after 8 to a queue of 6 people who all seemed to have reservations as well. We were all left standing there for 5 minutes as the host told us that some tables needed to be cleared before we could be seated. The restaurant was only half full at this time of night so this was strange that given it was Valentines Day they would not be better prepared. The decor was really nice with the tables all well set up and traditional Japanese stylings arou d the restaurant made for a pleasant environment. Once we were finally seated we were not provided with a menu until we asked for one when a waitress finally came to our table after 10 minutes from being sat down. Even then she only gave us one menu between two and apologised that she did not have anymore. We then waited another 5 minutes before a different waiter came by and took our drink order. The drinks came back promptly enough and I told the waiter that we would be ready to order shortly as we were just deciding on our mains. Another 15 minutes went past before we were able to hail the waiter again to take our food order. 20 minutes went by before our entrees arrived. I had the Pork Bao and my girlfriend ordered the greens with quinoa. We were also expecting a plate of sushi to arrive with the entree but it didn’t. We just assumed it would be brought out shortly after. My bao was cold, undercooked and hard on one side. The greens were delicious though. The main came out shortly after the entrees whereby we had the teriyaki chicken and rice. There was literally 7 small pieces of chicken hidden amongst some flimsy salad which had no teriyaki flavour at all unfortunately. The main cost $23. Finally after 15 minutes the waiter came back to clear our plates and he asked if we would like any dessert. I asked where our sushi was and he straight away apologised and checked with the kitchen. He came back out to say it would still be 15 mins away (clearly he had forgotten to put the order in). When the sushi finally came out it was encrusted in a Panko crumbs and had cooked tuna and cream cheese inside the roll. The sushi tasted like over cooked fish fingers. It was horrible and considering this was a Japanese restaurant it’s hard to fathom how they can’t even get sushi right. Overal this was an extremely disappointing experience and I would not recommend coming here.
A really nice restaurant with great food, teriyaki chicken is fantastic.
Food was very good, had a groupon voucher for 2pp from a xmas gift.. My partner is allergic to chicken & restaurant were not willing to substitute the chicken dish for beef as it was groupon..@$190 full price voucher it would have been an easy request I believe but chef came to table to say we already got 50%off with voucher&no changes could be made..@$95 for 2pp food was very good but definitely wouldn't rush back @full price .. Thankyou for a nice evening ..
Miss Kasumi is an attractive restaurant, and while the food is of good quality I don't think its value for money. Food came out in bits and pieces. I had asked the waitress to serve the food together as there were four of us and we wanted to share. She had agreed and then completely ignored our request. For me the whole service was disjointed and we won't be returning YR
Food is nice, not enough greens. Veggie eaters for much choice.
Food is nice and well presented. The venue itself is also well presented with good decor. However the customer service let the dining experience down. They were rude, one guest was slightly early before opening and the staff told off the guest it was not yet open and walked off? Could have offered to sit a the bar or something more friendly? Also there were a number of waiting staff but not well placed or trained requiring us to go out of our way to draw their attention (to get soy sauce for a sashimi dish).
Very friendly and helpful staff, food was delicious and nutritious.
Great place, great atpmoshpere, only con were the portions for food were quite small.
food delicious . Staff excellent , polite and helpful .
amazing food. unique favour. creative and authentic for some dishes. I recommend
Great selection of food and good sake. Love the duck and salmon dish
Beautiful food. Would definitely eat here again. Coped with kids.
loved the food loved the service loved the prices, highly recommend
Great service and food was tasty and well presented though on the smaller (proportion) side.
We went for dinner on a Sunday night, it was our first visit ever, based on a good review by a friend. We had the all-you-can-eat option. We ordered our starters first, sushi/gyoza/bao. Then our mains, since there were 5 of us we decided to try every main and every salad. The food was very good overall. Next visit we can be more targetted in our approach. What is lacking is the attention to service, everything we needed we had to call a waiter over, and there were not enough waiters on the floor.
