Delicious food and hardly any waiting time for food even when they are very busy. Great menu selection as well.

7 of us went after an online booking. Waited for approx 1/2 hr before one of us got her food. And a further 20 mins after, another dish came out, then the 3rd dish came after waiting another 15 mins! We had to cancel the rest of our order. However, they brought out 2 dishes just as we were about to leave - they offered these 2 dishes for free, which was a good gesture. Also the quantity was pretty small. # we haven't had issues with this restaurant before so I don't know why

We know Malaysian food well and the food here was disappointing. For example, too much Thai sweet chilli sauce, curry puffs with very little filling and no taste of curry

Had the Thai basil chicken with rice. Was dissatisfied with the taste, texture and experience. I have had the same dish many times before at this restaurant and it’s been good. But this time, chicken was undercooked, too many vegetables thrown in there for no reason and that too underdone. Prices have also gone up, won’t be coming back

Chicken curry lunch special was very tasty and good value

The food is great, favourite is the express lunch beef rendang and rice. Properly and authentically cooked.

Very covid safe, super fast service, and extremely tasty curries!

It’s a great place for lunch catch up. If your table is outside you would need to order and pay first before food is delivered. I tried paying with Liven rewards but did not work. Otherwise it’s a great lunch place

firstly part of our order was not placed to the kitchen and we waited 50 minutes to be served the final 2 dishes and when they came they were cold

Food as always was delicious! Unfortunately, today all 3 meals came out at different times with a 30 minute gap between first and last. Unusual for this place, but if you are on a timeframe, mention it we hen ordering.

Had the Nasi Goreng and Beef Rendang lunch special. Generous portions and tasty. Would have been better though if both serves came out at the same time as my partner had to wait for his dish and mine had cooled by the time his came out.

Had a fabulous dinner once again at Merchant Society Restaurant. I think you’d describe the food as Asian Infusion, but there’s something for everyone on the menu. The servings are plentiful and Yvonne’s cocktails are a specialty! They take the Covid restrictions seriously so do book so you don’t miss out on great food and a really welcoming atmosphere.

Charles and the wonderful Team made us and our guests feel so welcome in spite of social distancing. You’ve not had a Mojito until you’ve had one made at Merchant Society! 🍹 The servings were not only substantial but the dishes were absolutely delicious 😋. I was disappointed that the lunch deal only had meat options, it would've been nice if the vegan lunch option could also have the discounted wine. Other than that, good service and good food!

The food was tasty & service was efficient. The only letdown was we wanted to pay with a cryptocurrency app, which was clearly available on the app, but was denied by the staff operating the till.

Food came out at weird intervals where the entrée was last to be served and some orders were mixed up. Staff could've been a bit happier and smiled. Other than that it was good food mostly and nice atmosphere.

I often bring business friends and colleagues and family to Merchant Society. Their food is good especially the kampung chicken curry, atmosphere is great, service is prompt & friendly.

As usual, I ordered the fish 3 ways and it is consistently good. Would order it again. The other dishes that are nice are beef rendang and laksa
