Highly recommend The Melba restaurant at the Langham. Buffet caters to all dietary requirements, vast array of food at different serving stations, helpful staff, very beautiful setting. Really great for special occasions

Was a bit noisy for such a high class restaurant but it was a friday night so it is understandable. Food displayed was starting to look messy and unappetising further into the night.

Probably the best restaurant we’ve ever been to. Outstanding food and excellent service. We’ll definitely go again on our next trip to Melbourne.

Service was great but just short of amazing. They didn't come regularly to fill our glasses with water or anything else. Also for the price we paid there should have been complimentary juice or drink. Instead we had to pay extra for these. The soup should have been one that most people would like - pumpkin or tomato or even chicken but a seafood busque was pro idea and terrible miso both I disliked. It was my birthday but they didn't ask or give me anything to feel special. Usually in 5 star you get a red rose! I was hoping for little more international variety. No pastas congees or augratin. The Asian wasnt so great. No burgers or sliders for kids or steaks. No fishseafood bites and crab is too small not like the sizs it used to be before. Doubt it is blue swimmer also as advertised. Dessert could have included macadam or hazelnut items. Boring icecream choice and dessert.nothing special here. Something with alcohol in it could have stood out or dark chocolate. Finally there should have been someone to tell us what were the specialities in case we missed out.perhaps they could have made us some churros if we asked? Fresh and on the spot? Little over priced for what we got. Indian 5 or 8 stars serve international far better than this. Check out Leila palace chennai India. For this meal I would not pay more than $100 per head on a Saturday. $85 is all its worth.
