Professional service from the moment we arrived. Cute decor/vibe. Food was amazing - the best cacio e pepe I've tasted in Melbourne. Pasta was cooked perfectly and really flavoursome tasting authentic Italian food. Would definitely return and highly recommend!

Very rushed. Felt very pressured to order within an unreasonable amount of time, and then the food came out too quickly. Very limited range of starter dishes. The space itself is quite cramped. The food however was very good.

Totally fabulous. Our waiter was exceptional. Food was as we expected - very good. Don’t hesitate you will enjoy Marameo. Go to Gin Palace next door for a pre dinner drink for the perfect night.

Background music was too loud! I was in a group of 4 and hoarse at the end of the evening from holding conversation loud enough to hear over the music. Service was good. Food was very good. Broad wine list offered broad price range.

We had their "feed me" set course. The food was good with the reasonable price. Great service overall. We will definitely go back again.

The restaurant was very accommodating as we arrived early. The menu choices were difficult as it all read so well. The wines were a little pricey but perhaps not dissimilar to other restaurants, but the range and depth was good. Service was impeccable, perhaps a little too much gap between order and delivery, finish entree and main, but that was a small thing in relation to the quality of the food. There was a certain noise level but much depends on the consideration of patrons for others. Thanks Marameo for a good evening, we would recommend this restaurant any day.

Great revamp of this fine Italian restaurant. Service was a little slow and the music was on the loud side, but overall a great vibe and quality food.

I really liked the express lunch for $15. It was filling and later in the day I didn't feel the drop that you normally feel after eating carbs or pasta.

One of my favourite spots in MELBOURNE. A great, hidden gem serving incredible food and drinks with service to match.

Spectacular pasta, and spectacular service. Squid ink and crab pasta was amazing and the cacio e pepe was perfect. Oysters were great, as were the scallops. Highly recommended.
