Great food and service. Nice atmosphere and the toddler didn’t mind the noise at all. Overall a good experience and will come back.

Overall the food was great, however compared to other venues by the same group (Hutongs), the dumplings are smaller servings and more expensive. Great wine list - good value.

We love the food at Man Tong it is amazing, also the service is excellent as always from the wait staff. However the icy reception from the Hostess leaves a lot to be desired, if she does not like working in Hospitality she should get out & find another position where she can play the haughty reception girl. You want to be greeted like an old friend not an annoyance, disappointing.

First time at the Crown complex for over 10 years we arrived at 6pm as per our booking and ordered Banquet A. The first dish arrived very shortly after but before we had finished, the next 2 courses arrived simultaneously with the main course dishes arriving shortly after. To say the meal servings were rushed is an understatement-all dishes had arrived by 6.45 except for the dessert course. I asked the trainee to hold the desserts until I advised we would be ready for them. When they arrived the ice cream had melted so they must have been already prepared and sitting somewhere waiting for us to be ready. The only time we saw a waiter (not a trainee) was when we ordered and then paid. The rest of the time two trainees looked after the section of the restaurant where we were seated. Whilst they were attentive I found the experience odd. I cannot fault the food we had except for the dessert. The food was tasty and the portions were ample. However given the experience I would probably not go again.

The food is ordinary, nothing special. I’d expect the standard of dumplings and soup are much better quality.

We ordered the banquet and it was all too fast. Deserts put on table and left while we were only half way through the mains

Could not be a worse experience if they tried. That said food was great! Service horrific. Kevin our waiter - we had to ask 4 times for the wine. 3 times for water to come. I assume he was on L plates but who know. Food came in absolute dribs and drabs. Asked 6 times for the bill to pay and in the end had to give a room number and walk out as kids were fed up. Great food expensive but service 👎

The staff are lovely and attentive. The food is of excellent calibre and flavour. Man Tong Kitchen is a firm Yum Cha favourite. Prices are reasonable. Highly recommended.
