Great dinner and we tried dishes we had never tried before. Service was great, food was a little slow but we still had a lovely time.

Interesting menu, wanted to try everything! Absolutely delicious, having been to Cambodia recently we found the food authentic and I very much hope this restaurant continues on.

Our second visit to Mahob - beautiful food and plenty of it. We ordered the tasting menu at $75 each and it was well worth it. Plenty of food and each course tasted great. Three couples @ $250 a couple including our drinks. Good service from the staff. Busy for a Thursday night for a reason! Please don't close!!!

Disappointed by the atmosphere based on it being a pub & tab. It is labelled as a pop up, but that should not be a reason to not to put in any effort to give this place an individual touch. Noise levels are unbearable, service is, well, better suited to work at the pub next door, and especially the entrees and sharing dishes were somewhat underwhelming and neither authentic nor value for money. There is some serious homework to be done in terms of preparation, freshness of ingredients, presentation and authenticity (Cambodian brioche rolls). All in all not exactly happy with the experience due to the quality of food as well as the feeling of dining at an average corner pub that not only has seen better days but lacks charm, cleanliness and vibe.

I’ve been here many times. I live the food and so do my family. Took some friends this time and they also loved it. Would be nice to see the restaurant stay here. If not possible. Really hope that it manages to open up somewhere not too far away

The food and service were outstanding. Please stay open beyond December this year. As the only area for improvement, the restaurant was very noisy for a main dining room area that was half filled. Some soft furnishings required up there to reduce that.

This is one of the most interesting and delicious restaurants in Hawthorn. Food is amazing and consistent. We have been at least 6 times and it’s always superb.

A hidden gem, well worth a visit. At times a bit of a wait between dishes when it got busy, but well worth a visit.

We had a wonderful meal at Mahob by Amok. We had the set menu as there were 7 of us, and all of the food was wonderful.

Some of the best food we have ever had in Melbourne. Woody is an exceptional and talented chef. He is highly skilled in harmoniously celebrating flavours and ingredients. As a result, each dish is balanced, refined and elegant. We are fortunate to have his passion and calibre in our beautiful city.
