Great place for a date night, cheap eats, good drinks, and friendly staff

Whilst there was a good selection of dishes from the buffet menu, they were not very delicious - just average, nothing wow about it. We spent approx $200 for 4 adults and 1 child and honestly I didn't think it was value for money spent.

The menu is on an iPad so you can order at any time. The food is always great, and you can continue ordering little dishes as the meal progresses.

This place serves a wide selection of sake true to the name of it's owner Toshi Maeda who is the sake master of Australia!

Really good quality food at very reasonable prices. We Had 8 courses, only one was below average, the Osaka famous Octopus Balls. They were soggy and cold inside. Management was told. On my next return trip I was offered a replacement dish. I am going again next week, as I like the food, so I will take up the offer.

Quality of the meals and service were disappointing this time around. There were a lot less options to choose from and one of our favourite dishes - olonomiyaki was poorly prepared.

The staff was very nice, so welcoming and fun. Its asif i was back in japan. The food was absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked. Would definitely recommend for japanese food lovers.

Food are always so good as we come here often. Drinks are a little pricey but it may compensate for the good priced food. Nice atmosphere. So will be visiting again as usual. Thank you again Maedaya!

We are locals and have been here a few times before. Food was marginal and the service terrible. Guoza were wet and soggy and other dishes very low standard and we didn’t even receive the last food order. We waited over 20mins for it but it still didn’t arrive after a number of requests. We were repeatedly told that there were “so many orders” but this was at 9.30pm and the restaurant was significantly lower in volume than when we arrived at 8.15pm. Even water was a struggle to get. Have gone many times before but we will not go back.

Meat quality was good for all you can eat. Shame the exhaust fan was so loud, it felt like we were yelling the whole time. Coal could have been hotter for the meat to cook faster.

Such a great place, friendly staff, delicious food, their all you can eat bbq is some of the best value food and drink! I miss this kind of option from Japan in Australia, totally recommend!
