I really disappointed and unhappy about the waitress trying to make sure if i can afford the Omakase menu for $120 per person when i told her i want that Omakase menu. But there is a waiter he did serve us well.

Get there and table is not ready even we booked in advance. They forgot our drinks order and some items we wouldn’t like to try was out of stock. And after we ordered, they got back to us they ran out of the items after a long wait. The quality of the food is okay but the management is terrible.

The next best thing to travelling to Japan! Highly recommended

Been here multiple times. Always loved the tacos which kept us coming back. However, this visit was very disappointing with the decline in value or cost-cutting. The $19.50 uni tacos used to be only topped with uni, but now has fish hidden underneath to deceive customers. When we asked, the chef very, extremely rudely said “we always have fish in it, we have always done it this way”. None of us concurred to that and started digging up pictures. Wish we could share the pictures here. The amount of uni must have reduced by 40%. What would have been the right thing to do was to say that they have changed the menu and that is it. He rudely treated us with tourist traps (which none of us were) and brushed it off like that. The waitress was absolutely apologetic and nice but the chef put her in a difficult position.

Everything we ate was so delicious - the seafood platter was just as beautiful to look at as it was to eat. Incredible!

Food is of acceptable quality however we developed allergy due to traces of sea urchin from the table wares . Pricing was quite steep.

It was a little stuffy inside, and was placed sitting near the entrance of restroom. However the food was incredible, love the rainbow maki, and the wagyu on hot stone

We were blown away by Machi! The service is so friendly and they are all so sweet and helpful. The food is wonderful with a great variety. Japanese tacos were delicious, we had the prawn (hot) and lobster (cold) and loved them. The lamb main was a huge hit with a generous serving and tasty sauce. The duck was also a generous serving and simple but well cooked and tasty. I highly recommend this restaurant and can’t wait to go again as other dishes we saw, coming out, such as sushi, looked fabulous!

The hot stone dishes gave off a smokey, oily fog that needed a better extraction fan. The smell and fog was unpleasant. Our order got mixed up so we had to wait quite a while to finish our food. The Ngiri is perfect at Machi. Overall less than perfect this time..

The Machi Seafood 3 tier platter is a must try especially if you love seafood! The Eggplant chips is beautifully fried up and soft like tofu but not oily or too dry at the same time. Will definitely come back to try other interesting meals in the menu.

Been coming here since it opened and had the worst bday dinner with friends. So disappointed. Ridiculously under-staffed. Food was still delicious but came out like 30-60 mins after ordered for each dish.
