Absolutely amazing value for money the serves were generous and delicious, the owner was overseeing everything and always ready to help, Romina our server was "on point" friendly and attentive, TANTI AGURI!!!!

New menu, but not appropriate for Italian Restaurant (spring rolls and samosas not Italian fare) and definitely many more choices needed. Sides (chips, salads, garlic bread no longer available) and nothing available for kids except a couple of pastas and ice-cream. Where’s the parmi and scallopini gone?

Great service and a very enjoyable lunch with the family

Are there new owners? Something was wrong. Service poor, meals came at different times and menu disappointing. Where is the lemon sorbet? Not sure we will go back.

The lighting was too bright. We loved the Italian cantina style before the management change over. There was character and charm and it felt like one was in Italy. What is it trying to be now? It seems more like a Hans cafe with token Italian food. Outside area looked dull and characterless. Food was ok. Service was friendly but we missed the Italian characters that served us before. Won't be going back.

The food was not as good as on previous visits.

Service very slow and food disappointing. Menu limited and expensive for the small size pasta we ordered and then received. My son had to come home and get something else to eat after paying $26 for spaghetti bolognaise. Very disappointing and we won’t be back.

Have been to Lo Zucchero before, but this time the service was slow, our mains arrived 45 mins later, even though we arrived at 6.30pm! The restaurant was busy but not full!

Food was excellent, personality of the server lovely, however, got one order wrong (ordered marinara pizza and got marinara spaghetti) and had to wait for a pizza as it wasn't made. Though it was very quick to arrive. Won't stop us from coming back.

Friendly staff, nice choice of meals, didn't have to wait for meals. The only down side was one noisy table who thankfully quietened as the night wore on. At least it was happy noise.:)

Fabulous large meals with very friendly service. One of our favourites.

Very friendly staff and visit was fabulous. New owner very good and has great rapport with all involved. Only thing must say is when packing leftovers perhaps advisable to train staff how to package. We had salad with our meat and all food placed ON TOP of each other which made it very hard to separate meat when going to reheat to eat again. Ended up wasting a lot of it. Otherwise no complaints whatsoever. Food superb beautifully prepared.

Lasagne arrived with nothing else at all!! No salad or chips - nothing! My chicken was so dry I couldn’t swallow it so I was unable to finish it My five wedges didn’t really cut it as a meal The cost was $28 and $38 respectively and for that pricing you receive salad and chips everywhere else. They obviously want you to spend more on buying those sides seperately in which case they need to drop the prices. I complained when paying the bill and they “generously” deducted $12 for my uneatable meal. Really?? I still paid $26 for food that I couldn’t eat.

One of our group had a wheelchair and they were very accommodating. Very pleasant lunch

Male waiter was rude to female waiter when she asked if he would deliver water to our table and then rolled his eyes and sighed heavily when he came to take our order and we politely told him we weren’t quite ready yet. That was all within 10 minutes of arrival. And so we left and found a place around the corner who seemed grateful for our business. Such a shame as have been before and had a pleasant experience. It just takes ONE individual to spoil the reputation of a business! It’s all about customer service and customer experience.

We have always had a good meal here, the food is excellent. Unfortunately there was a problem with our order and one of our party had his meal at least 20 mins before the rest of the meals arrived. He had finished by the time we ate. Problems happen and we accept that.

Large family of many unruly kids at next door table made it difficult, no control and combined with very busy for staff, the evening was a challenge

New owners have cut meal sizes but still charge the same .my Dinner lukewarm , husbands Pizza dry , not enough staff on a busy Saturday night . Sat for over 30 minutes with dirty plates on table .

I love the restaurant I think the food & everything is amazing. Little disappointed in how long it took us to get served& for our food to come out. We were waiting half an hour just to get drinks & for one of the staff just to take our order. Then an hour & a half to get our food, it was nice but a little cold. When we asked one of the waiters politely how it was going because of the long wait, his response was “I know I know” then walked off. I don’t think I’ll be coming back in a hurry as my parents experienced the same thing last time they went there about a month ago.

The food was to die for, everyone loved it. We all had something different and were extremely happy.

My partner and i had a lovely evening tonight. The new owner Lily is a gem. Very engaging with customers and a delight. Made the night even more memorable

Food was great, but the noise from a group of ladies VERY LOUD, they thought they were the only ones there.
