The food was sub-average, the service was lower. Better off going anywhere else.

Ordered a dish that goes very with lemon. They brought us a slice of lemon. We asked they guy for lemon but he never came back and we were waiting and the food getting cold. A girl working there was serving the table next to us so we asked her for half a lemon but she came back with a slice. Water and two glasses were brought to the table but one of the glasses had stains so we put it aside and did not use it. Staff were not really that helpful.

We’ve been dining here for many years however, timing he was the worst experience we’ve had. The staff are great and attentive however, the food has fallen by the wayside. The calamari entree was not fresh. It was a frozen packet that you. It at the supermarket. The Fatoush seemed like it was a packet of mixed iceberg salad from the Supermarket with some cucumber, tomato and and crispy bread thrown in. The shredded carrots gave it away. Bubbagaboush was great as always as was the shish Tawok.

Great food, relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff. I had dinner with friends from Canada, and they thought it was great too. Sitting on Lygon Street, watching everyone go by, what could be better?

We were a group of 9 including 5 kids. Service was prompt, polite and patient (and funny!). Food was GORGEOUS- we will definitely be returning!!

Very enjoyable food and atmosphere. The mix grill with rice, salad and dips was good value with wonderful taste that tantalised the pallet. We ordered the shiraz to accompany the meal and it just topped the meal off

The food was amazing. First time having Egyptian. The wait for the food was longer than expected. Roughly 15 more minutes than we should have waited. The appetizers came out after the main dishes.

Great Egyptian food and staff. Very welcoming. Food was hot and fresh. Awesome lamb fatta, molokheya, mix grill and loukomades. Nice stuffed vine leaves and sambousa. And the legendary om ali was to die for.
