Great authentic food that comes out quick! Hor fun was my fave, and the fish was dads, but chicken rice tasty too. Just need to stock more kuih :)

Tasty hawker food reminiscent of old Ipoh town. Quality consistent, portions decent. Customer service wonderful as always! Winners tonight was the Lor mee (braised noodles in dark egg-sauce gravy accentuated with vinegar and chai tow kueh (fried Chinese radish cake).

So happy we found this local gem through Quandoo. Every dish delicious. The best we have had outside of Malaysia! Friendly service. Cant wait to go back :)

This is our second visit. We’re very impressed with the food and service during our first visit, so we decided to come back here again. The food and service are still very nice but I didn’t enjoy the dish I ordered. The Pork Belly with Preserved Vegetable was bland, no Unami taste of the preserved mustard at all. I had this dish when I was a little girl (40 years ago!), and I can still clearly remember the smell and the taste of this dish even until today. It’s a very traditional Asian food, if you haven’t eaten it before, you had nothing to compare against it. Well, I’m very disappointed with this dish and will not order it again. I’m going to find the recipe and cook this dish myself for nostalgia sake. The staff are very polite, we will visit this restaurant again in future to try other dishes.

It's our first visit. We like the simple and basic set up of the restaurant, nothing obstructing your way when you walk in. The floor is clean and the tables are well-spaced out. The young boy who served us was very patient and courteous, as some of the menu name is in Malay, so he translates them for us and explain what's in the dish. He even made good recommendation, we love the taste of the dishes he recommended. The price is reasonable and the quality of food is good. We will definitely go there again.

The 3 layer tea has got to be the best drink to find in Perth. It will be better if they have more kueh range like having the nine layered kueh.
