My absolute favourite Italian in SA, always great service and friendly. Food is just amazing, never disappoints

Nice food, service could be better. Waiters could be more attentive.

Food was great. Service could be better. It took a bit of effort to get the attention of our assigned waiter. And the other waiters ignored us, except for one lady.

The award for the best pizza was won a few years ago. We had the winning Andy’s Seafood pizza. Still fabulous!

We went there Tues 3oth June for my Husbands Birthday. The food beautiful and atmosphere lovely. Lots of Diners in at Lunch and the Staff were very attentive and friendly. Will be back again with our Family.

La Trattoria is consistently good. I have never been disappointed in over 20 years as a regular diner.

Always amazing food and fantastic service, great place to eat.

I have never had a spaghetti marinara as good as that ever before. Plenty of seafood and not over the top with tomato base which was light and runny. I could really taste the seafood which is what it is all about. The bread roll at the end helped me soak up all of the juices.

Great service, food absolutely delicious! During these hard times support our local businesses, social distancing was also done well! Thanks for a lovely evening

We were rushed, being seated for only 45 minutes. Food was average, nothing special. I expected better.

Everything was perfect, we had a table for two in a nice little nook around the corner, noise level was low. I've eaten there many times over many years and have always enjoyed the service, food and definitely good value for money. Recommend.

A staff "farewell luncheon", so only limited time to spend at the Restaurant. However the whole experience was superbly handled by the waiting and kitchen staff. Almost every staff member ordered something different from the menu. The food was delivered promptly and efficiently by cheerful staff. Extremely impressed. We will be returning. Special thanks to our waiter, Billy for going above and beyond.

Good food. Very traditional Italian with courteous service and interesting decor. We ate inside but there is also a large outdoor eating area which looks good. The restaurant was able to accommodate a large group (12) with ease.

Food is great and more than enough for anyone. Price reasonable. Service really good and he was a bit of a character. Only negative is that it was a bit stuffy but there were ceiling fans so I should have asked to turn them on. Would go back anytime
