We enjoyed the food and service. BYO is an advantage too. Interesting view out onto Brunswick Street. Good to have a choice of Bento it Teppanyaki.

We celebrated my friend’s birthday at Koya’s. It was a great place, great value for money, the food were amazing. The chef and all the crew were very hospitable and very genuine. Just wanna thank you guys for making it so memorable for us! I can honestly recommend this place. 😄😄😄😄

A fabulous night at the Teppanyaki Bar. So much food ... really good value ... all prepared in front of us with great precision and care. We felt very spoilt with attentive care. The Teppanyaki Chef is amazing and there is an interactive theme too towards the end of the menu. Excellent value for money and a fun night. gabby

We had an absolute lovely time tonight. May and Steven and their staff are just so welcoming and extremely talented. The kids loved it more importantly including the food, staff and how amazing Steven is on the pan, very impressive and we all will be coming back. We also had my husband and brother in-laws birthdays there and they went above and beyond to make them feel extra special, which it did. A great night out for the whole family, our kids can’t wait to go back as they said it was so much fun...which it was. Thank you for a beautiful experience and I really nice night out. Stephen, the chef, and May, who organised our dietary requests and was also our waitress, were outstanding in every way! We had to ask for a full seafood option (prawns, salmon, scallops and Moreton Bay bugs) due to for our teppanyaki meal (which also included miso soup, salad, fried rice and green tea ice cream)... and May responded to this request very promptly through their online booking enquiry service. Stephen’s skill as a chef, and in engaging the whole group with his cooking flair plus the great games, left the whole group feeling very happy with how wonderful an experience this was. Every single dish was excellent! Very happy bellies and very happy hearts! Thank you :)

Fantastic overall. Suggest going early in the week when is not busy. Is right on Brunswick St and open area so a bit noisy due to traffic, but not too much of an issue.

This place is awesome. Just found our new favourite Japanese restaurant in town! The place is lovely, service was fast and the food was beyond delicious.

Ridiculous pricings for the amount of food. Almost all foods were half-portions of standard Japanese dining. Non-traditional cooking by non-Japanese staff = terribly average taste.

What a little Gem we found last night. An amazing Bento Box Selection, which was delicious and the sushi is fresh and outstanding also. Very very friendly staff and Very Reasonable Prices. We will be back even though we are from the Gold Coast :) Thankyou Koya.
