Kahani- Indian Food Trail

We ordered a chicken biriyani and were served a vegetable one. There was no apology for the stuff-up and we did not accept the offer of 'no charge.' We ate and paid for it, because we did not want to throw away good food.

Really enjoyed a slightly different type of Indian. Loved the samosas and Pot Curry. Naan was delicious too. Can't wait to go back and try some of the other dishes. So much to choose from and it all looked amazing.

Food was delicious and the service was great. The menu took a little while to read and decide what to eat though.

We had a lovely time at the restaurant, the only downside was the lack of choice of wines and the price of Shaw and Smith, this restaurant was the most expensive for a bottle of wine $79 dollars, we have this wine at other restaurants and is a lot cheaper.

Kahani's are new and have only been in operation since January 2024. They could offer a Chef's Special Feast for 1 which was good. Usually, feasts and banquets at other restaurants will only cater for 2 or more. Good Indian restaurant in Glenelg. Worth the visit.
