Love this restaurant, so sad it's gone and closed down now!

Tempura done in old oil. 5 pieces only. Didn’t stay for other courses as partner couldn’t eat the tempura. Waitress ok but disappointed

Good and prompt service. Good variety of foods. It was a Monday night and quiet, and we had a good time. The menu has sufficient variety and good quality.

Food was as expected, but the waitress taking our order seemed to have a hard time understanding our order, i.e. two different people ordering the same thing. I suspect they instead put one instead of two in, even though we were VERY CLEAR and repeated it to her that it's two sets of the same dish that we want. The rest of the table finished their meals by the time that order came around. It was disappointing for us all.

The Customer Service was amazing and you would be greeted as soon as you step in the door. Staff were very friendly and the food is very nice and full of flavour.

Amazing restaurant, delicious food. I could eat everything off the menu! Corkage is a bit pricey at $5 per head if you only BYO one bottle of wine and have many people.

food was good as price isn't too expensive. Wine list is limited more list on sake and shochu. service is vey attentive. we will go back.

Can't fault the bento box lunch for $13, lots of variety to choose from with simple ordering process and no fuss service. One of the favourites for our team lunches

The bento boxes are top notch. Unlimited rice and miso soup, and friendly staff. I go here for lunch on Friday with my coworkers once a month or so and they never have an issue finding space.

The food was great. The service was so so - we were seated upstairs so there weren't many wait staff walking around. Definitely reccomend the wafu steak!

Japanese Restaurant with actual Japanese staff! Great friendly service and amazing food as always. I took my friend here because this has been one of my favourite Japanese restaurants in Melbourne for a long time due to the authenticity and price. He was also very happy with the food and service. Small mix up with the order but easily and very quickly sorted. We couldn't eat it all, took it home... can't wait to finish it off for lunch tomorrow. See you guys next time!

We had a great meal. There were a few languages difficulties with some staff, but we got there in the end. Definitely worth a visit.

We went as a table of 4 on a Friday night and received great service and the food was excellent. Kingfish sashimi was definitely a big highlight.

Loved the food here, especially the clam soup with butter and sake as well as the salt and pepper ox tongue. I will definitely come back to try the sake they serve.

Had bad experience .Not well organised. Even I booked the table in advance had to wait long to get seated and that too didnt have a table for the whole group together. Long wait for meal and there are no vegetarian options on the menu

The food was excellent and there's a very pleasing selection of Japanese beers. The echo of "Irasshaimase!" from all the staff upon our arrival gave a very authentic Japanese feel.

One of traditional Japanese Izakaya style without a fuss. The meals are great. The ambience was as expected. The service could improve a little if I may suggest.

Great food, reasonably priced and fast service as we had a theatre booking. Wait staff very friendly and huge variety of dishes to choose from. Limited wine list, thought $4.50 per person corkage was excessive.

You can expect good quality, affordable Japanese with BYO available. The ability to quickly and easily book a table is appreciated. I highly recommend for a casual, relaxed dinner.

This Japanese place have always friendly service and their food is beautiful . Good for biz lunch , private also family ! ! ! !

Good food. On this occasion, the Nasu Dengaku was not cooked thru. The sashimi was melt in the mouth experience. Would definitely return to try other dishes as we were pressed for time on this visit.

We ordered the sushimi special which was delicious and good value. The chief even came over and checked how our meal was. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Food was awesome. Love their gyu-tan (grill ox tongue). The buta shioyaki is also superb. Will visit again . Need to improve in aircon as the place abit stuffy during summer.

I ended up needing more tables and chairs the night i booked my reservation and the staff were very accommodating and friendly and did very well looking after us. We were very satisfied. Thank you.

Great experience overall for a birthday dinner! Prefer their sushi, sashimi and smaller plates which were great! The larger main meals were good, but ordinary. Staff were all lovely to deal with too =)
