India Cottage is a great little local family restaurant! The food was delicious and the service friendly. My husband, mother-in-law and I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at this restaurant tonight.

While we weren't expecting much of this restaurant from its location, we weren't disappointed in our expectations. Some of the food was nice, some not so. Ambience lacking from the massive soft drink fridge taking up half of one wall to the burning sun coming through the unshuttered/blinded windows facing west. Although there were only 3 other patrons, tables weren't completely set making choice less comfortable. The only table not in the searing sun was below an air-conditioning vent guaranteed to freeze food as soon as it arrived at the table. It was also not set and we later deduced that it was probably used for seating take-away patrons waiting for their orders. The Chicken Madras was tasty and nice consistency but the Vegetable Korma was like a soup with packet frozen veggies - all diced small and nothing of any substance as you find in other Indian restaurants.

Really exceptional Indian cuisine. The service can be a bit lax but overall my guests were blown away by the quality freshness and taste of the menu. Excellent
