I had an amazing experience at Ichiban! The service was so fantastic, I felt like I was invited into a beautiful home. The food was sensational and the chefs were so skilled and provided a great experience.

The chef is very friendly and entertaining. Food was fresh, however, the service was slow and it not even a full house. Water wasnt top up and plate wasnt taken away when finished.

The teppanyaki chef was clearly not experienced and we didn’t get the full teppanyaki experience. No fire show, no explanation of the food or even asking how we would like our beef cooked.

Nice place but had to wait for 40 mins for no obvious reason and prices for set menus are steep in relation to the value provided. We had the set menu with the Lobster and it turned out that we were served half of a lobster tail each. Given the $20 difference per person and based on experiences we've had at other places one would certainly expect to get a full Lobster tail per person. Other than that it's been an enjoyable experience with good food and attentive service but the place looks a bit run down after all.

Our chef Max did an amazing job and provided delicious food and an entertaining display cooking it. The noise level was a little high but was also a good sign of how entertained the other restaurant patrons were.
