Attentive service, moody atmosphere, good food. Will go again in future.

We have dined at Hunter and Barrel on a few different occasions and really like the food and that is why we keep coming back (and will continue to come back) We always find the service to be patchy. We've had brilliant service and mediocre service. Perhaps a bit more training wouldn't go astray in this area. Saying that we wish them the best of luck at this time and hope they will be with us for years to come.

Excellent service, delicious food, a little pricey but happy to pay for an all round experience for our anniversary. Looking forward to dining there again.

Loved having staff correctly pronounce our surname for a change!! Thank you. Loved the 'worse starter. Our meat platter was amazing. Table service was very good too. Thank you for making it a lovely birthday celebration dinner. We will be back.

H&B is our family's favourite restaurant, we dine there for birthdays and any other special occasion, or just because we love the food, atmosphere and super friendly staff. On this particular visit, unfortunately the air con was not working - and it was a super hot day - but the staff did all they could to make us comfortable - two fans on either side of us and lots of iced water. Did I say the food is amazing too?!!

We have loved this restaurant ever since it opened and they have a great loyalty system. The quality has remained the same and my favourite is the chicken skewer with salad however my husband's favourite pork belly is not the crispy version anymore. The staff are always great, sometimes we get a really chatty person and sometimes they just get on with the job. We always book beforehand to avoid disappointment and it can be quite noisy when it's crowded but our last visit was mid-week and it was perfect. Thanks H & B

Couldn’t fault the food and the service but unfortunately it was uncomfortably too hot upstairs To sit and enjoy our dinner we ate and ran 🤔

We are always really happy with our food at Hunter and Barrel. It is great for a mid price meal that really fills you and is enjoyable.

beautiful Wagyu steak and thick cut chips, but should've known that Medium rare would be rarer than I cook it... still very enjoyable with a great wine list!! only disappointment was in booking online, it's obviously not enough to mention your anniversary and hope for a good table, I'd recommend ringing them if you do want something more private/special. A great night out nonetheless!

Great service. Arli and Olivia are fabulous. Food was great as always. Not that keen on the new salad dressing.

Excellent service and a very high standard of food. Meat dishes and vegetable side dishes were elegantly presented.

The food and service was amazing. The table next to us, seating was rearranged numerous times and chairs changed. It was in a small space which was disruptive as they had to go passed us more than a few times.

Hunter & Barrel is our family’s favourite restaurant on the outer Eastern suburbs, we love everything about it. The food is beautiful, the service is top notch and the restaurant has a buzzing vibe, it’s very popular. Perfect for a special night out.

Nice decore, staff very friendly and attentive. Food was not overly flavoursome or inspiring.

The menu has been changed and there are couple of faves that we missed but the new menu is lovely. Some dishes are great value for money but others are a little pricey for the size of the dish. Staff were attentive

The foos and service was great. We had the calimari for starter and it was the best we have ever had. We both had a steak and they were great also. My wife's steak was a little overcooked but other than that it was really good.

Quick & friendly service. The food (meat & sea food) was delicious and perfectly cooked. Portions were very generous. Great address

This is typical of the high quality eateries that in habit the Ringwood Square precinct. Great food and service set in attractive modern and subtle GOT themed surroundings.

Despite being off to a slow start and taking a very long time to take our order, the food was amazing.

Wasn't the best I have ever had, but certainly not the worst. It took a while to get my first drink despite not being busy. I purchased the rib eye which I was told to get medium instead of medium-rare; I should have gone with my original plan. Ironically my wife's eye of rump was nice, tender, thick and bloody- how a steak should be. The rump seems like the pick of the steaks despite being the least expensive. The fried squid starter was succulent and juicy. Portion sizes seem a little on the small side given the money spent. I left feeling hungry when for the price of four meals, a starter and drinks, I should have left feeling full. The decor and atmosphere was on point.

This was the second time in two weeks and the first visit was amazing we ordered the Kangaroo dish and the jus was thick and full or flavor the meet was cooked perfect. Last night the meat not cooked like last time the jus was runny and didn't have any flavor at all. We both leave very disappointed and wishing we had ordered something different so we could leave with the first impression. Thanks
