Average food . Not great ambience. Menu hard to navigate
Bustling place, great food, responsive service, overall good experience, happy to go again
Very enjoyable dining experience with delicious Peking Duck, duck bone soup & sliced fish in hot Sichuan chilli oil! Value for money, low noise & good service. The only thing I would pick a little was the air con - not cold enough in a hot day, even though the waitress tried to coordinate to her best ability.
Enjoyed the Peking duck set. Will definitely return and try out the main dishes next time.
Delicious meal and we had a combination of dim sum and half Peking duck. Staff are friendly and it was an overall very enjoyable meal.
The food is fantastic, the duck is cooked to perfection.
Amazing Peking duck, black tofu with scallop, and sweet sour pork served on iced. Bookings definitely required as they are busy.
crispy duck skin and duck soup was big portion and tasty
Came here for their famous Peking Duck but it was disappointing. It is cold and definitely not freshly cooked. Looks great on the table though. There's a display of a fiery kiln/oven by the entrance with what looks like duck being freshly cooked, however, you're getting the one sitting in the kitchen. Shame as the duck had a good amount of fat and skin; which tastes extremely oily to the tongue when it arrived at room-temperature.
Probably the best Peking duck I've ever had, especially in Australia.
The bowls and plates were badly chipped. As a customer, I had to ask for exchange of non-chipped items (the exchanged plates and bowls were less chipped). Management should consider this as an important part of the service, as this is consider and occupational health to customers and their staff. I welcome the management to be make a change.
Nice Chinese restaurant in Melbourne city, good foods & service.
Great food! Authentic Asian food with a modern twist. Reasonably priced.
No bed I love it and will go back again to eat this :) thank you
The restaurant opens at 11:30am which was not a problem but the waiter seem to look grumpy that we all waited for the restaurant to open. Then, he doesn't care or check who comes first in the waiting area and let people walk in, serve them. We have a pram so we don't want to squeeze in, the waiter obviously saw us when we walked but ignored us and served whoever cutting the queue first. There were a few good waitresses and waiter during our time there but we were generally being ignored quite a few times and not much of offer was provided to help us settle. With the cost service is bad. The food, I would say they are good. Fresh and good tasting. Well presented. I will still go again.
It is ok, a little bit over price. Overall ok
Amazing Lunch, Peking Duck and Soup Amazing. Great Old School Chinese Food here. Highly Recommended..
We had an amazing time. Carman in particular looked after our large group and our various dietary requirements. We were given privacy when we were chatting and food was delivered at exactly the right times. So comfortable but at the same a very beautiful venue - will be back for our next group booking!
Great restaurant with fantastic friendly staff, the service is super quick and the food and presentation is 10/10.
Food was good as usual, however, they have 1.5 hour limit for us to enjoy the food. It becomes so rush for us to complete all dishes within 1.5 hours
Great food, very tasty! Been here before and it’s always good.
Food is delicious, portion and price are reasonable! Staff are efficient and friendly, would definitely recommend to friends and come back again! Would be great if there’s no time limit, however understand that as it’s a busy Saturday night.
I am happy with food and service . The Peking duck is so yummy
Had to wait despite booking as table wasn’t ready. It was busy and there was a queue waiting to be seated.once ordered dishes were served very promptly, taste good, decent serves and great service. It’s our second visit in 3 days and we’ll be back
Beautiful duck dishes. Good service but the place is a bit
Service was good and quick. I am not a fan of e- menus but it worked well. The food arrived all at the same time which is a bit daunting. And why is the sweet and sour pork served on ice?
The duck was really fresh and the wrap was warm.
excellent food and service. the waitress even gave my son a toy
Service is really bad. Not enough cutleries and it took ages for food to be served.
It was chaotic at the cashier and service but food came out swiftly. The duck tasted quite nice for a dining occasion
Hot; the AC is not strong enough to enjoy food properly
Food is wonderful! I live in Sydney but naver had amazing food like this. It's absolutely worth 5 out of 5 marks!
Serving fast, food nice albeit not excellent, good portion. Overall, good value for money!
Best peking duck but the place is super busy so very rushed
The duck is dried and “fresh cook meal” served within 10 mins with cold soup and forgot the ordered rice. The restaurant is noisy the customer service was just okayed.
The food is amazing and the service is great , reality enjoy coming here
It was a decent experience with great food. Will visit again.
Food was alright, not spectacular. Ambience and service is good. Duck was so so.
We have ordered one whole duck which served on two plates but we found out the taste of duck were different. Why not gave us the same whole duck, horrible........... Because one plate of duck was taste good and other plate of duck was quite bad.....
Everything is perfect! Food is extremely nice and well presented with great taste. Sweet sour pork on ice is a must have. Chill pepper fish in oil is also another dish that we order each time.
Most of the dishes were very tasty and they have generous portions. My fave was the sweet n sour pork
Actual Peking duck skin is divine but did not like the sauce too runny and more on the salty side, pancakes very nice …service slow and rushed and poor attention to detail, venue beautiful though and would cater big group gathering well if the service could catch up…the place was quiet when we went . Would bring own Peking duck sauce next time
We had 1/2 peking duck. The soup bowl is huge. I didnt expect it. Very busy restaurant
Not as expected, menu had change and less variety of dessert and dimsum option.
Food was very well prepared. Peking duck was the best. Service could be improved though. A good idea to make a booing in advance, it was full when we arrived at 6:30pm.
Food was great - the skin on the peking duck was exceptionally crispy. The portions are huge, and the three ways on the duck is great value. However, service could be better. We waited out the front for quite a while before someone came to greet us. It was also very hard to get someone's attention at the table
Quick and delicious, will come again for yumcha as the staff recommended
good peking duck as always! some dishes tool ages to coms
Great as always, we have been here at least six times now
loved the ambience, and the food is superb. we had half a roast duck, and a couple of yum cha favourites. for the duck we ordered the soup which was rich & pleasant accompaniment to the meal.
