Hotel Palisade - Henry Deane

Yet another great lunch at Henry Deane.....friendly service, tasty food and the panoramic view. My 'go to' place for a casual business lunch on a Friday. Never been let down.

Great service, drinks, food and of course view. Was a fabulous day out with the girls. Will definitely be back. Maybe a private function package?

Food was average, desserts were bad and my cocktail had a hair in it.. Waitress asked me why I didn't tell her there was a hair in it from the start when I got a frose and I couldn't see it until I got it. Her attitude was poor and made up excuses for the hair.

What a treasure! Made our way there on a wet day, such a treat, so much character and the view was very special. Very trendy dining. Love being a tourist in old Sydney Town - do yourself a favour and visit here.

Great food, great views and good service. It was a little noisy though. Also, be mindful of the 10% service charge that is added to everything at the end (it's in very small print at the bottom).

Sensational food although portion size leaning towards women. View amazing. Decor grubby , stains on lounges/ chairs and wait staff could be a bit more enthusiastic, hate it when they think they are the customer. No coffee served either!

Very cool decor. A great atmosphere. Good food and excellent friendly service. And to top it all off, Henry Deane's atop the Palisade, has one of the best views in Sydney.

We went on a Wednesday evening and the place was packed, obviously we're not the first to find Henry Deane! Even though the place was extremely busy we had great personal service from all of the staff. Food was delicious, fabulous flavours and brought out in stages so we could enjoy each course. Will go back again at a quieter time, week day afternoon?, to better enjoy the views and ambience.

Amazing view and great service. Had the grilled octopus was a bit over cooked and chewy but would have been the only fault of the afternoon

It was my first time at The Palisade. It was a most enjoyable afternoon. Starting with a relaxing drink on Level 4 in the lounge then going up to the Cocktail Bar. The service was exceptional. The young lady who served us was attentive and friendly and very helpful. The food was delightful and I look forward to my next visit and won't hesitate to recommend it as a fantastic venue.

We had an amazing time, the atmosphere was great , food was tasty, view was amazing. The only thing was that it did get very busy and quiet crowded by late afternnoon.

Amazing place. Great atmosphere. Lovely people and waiters/waitresses. Reccomend anyone to go there. Food is to die for and the beverages are just amazing!! Everyone must visit the henry heane.

The restaurant is gorgeous! I came on a Wednesday with my friend at lunch time. The view is beautiful, just opposite to Sydney Harbor Bridge. The interior decoration is elegant, including pink sofa and marble table. The dishes were all amazing. I tried prawn, scollop, lamp fillet and broccoli. Nice to try and a good place to date.

The view was unreal. The staff were very professional and courteous. Their knowledge and passion for food and wine was evident. The food was beautiful. We took our hosts recommendation of brussel sprouts and we were not disappointed. The price was acceptable given the overall quality of the experience. I will definitely go again.

This restaurant had amazing views and very attentive staff. Food was excellent, well prepared and presented. It was a little noisy so if you are after an intimate dinner best to go out of normal hours ... but do go it's fab!

From the time we arrived to the time we had leave the customer service by all staff was absolutely outstanding! Especially the awesome ladies on the front door!!!

The Palisade is a spectacular, secret and quirky dinning experience. High in its tower, great atmosphere, glamorous table service and hip music. It is informal in its seating and share plates, but with the right crowd, in the right mood it is fab! For us, the view lifted everyone's spirit and the morsels of food were tasty and and satisfying. You can simply order as you go, so it is as light or as comprehensive as the hour or event requires. Very flexible. I Loved that froze rose, ( read as in pink wine slushy), delicious!

The lunch was outstanding. The food terrific. The service was terrific. And the views were terrific. Seamless transition from the Bar to Lunch so that the regulated 'seating' for lunch was pleasantly extended.

Views are amazing and good is great. They add on an annoying service charge which is unnecessary and sittings are for two hours only, with minimal room to finish drinks.

Lovely lunch, good service, great vibe. We enjoyed the view and the chilled rose whilst settling down into comfy chairs. the tables were a little low and hard to eat from if sitting in one of the higher chairs...but I suspect most people are there for the drink!

10 out 10. Great venue, food n helpful team members. My partner and I had a great time. Definetely coming back! It's going to be my summer place to be!

We were looked after very well by Natalie today. Lovely views and a nice atmosphere in a very compact and crowded bar/ restaurant. Food is tapas style and not too bad. Nice choice of wines. Love the buff pink leather lounges 😍

Chilled & hip environment, very good service, beautiful view, delicious drinks and the best octopus. I would highly recommend this rooftop bar and what it offers.

it's all about the views...breathtaking !..great relaxed atmosphere and service ..menu is a bit odd ...need more easily shared plates ...but overall a stunning location especially for any visitors to Sydney .

What an amazing place , truly awesome food packed full of flavour. It would be nice though not to be restricted to two hours though.

Everything about the night was perfect! Once we sat down, the waitress took our order for drinks which came in 5 minutes and they were delicious. I ordered the cocktail with Plymouth Gin - it’s such a great gin that not many bars stock and/or make cocktails with. We the ordered the eel croquette, lamb cutlets, spicy cauliflower and the brussel sprouts (which were my favorite - best brussel sprouts I’ve ever had!). We then ordered a couple of dessert dishes - the sago is a must! So refreshing and so much flavor! I’ll definitely be back! :)

Food was lovely and plentiful and the service was great, next time I would love to sit somewhere that had a better view of harbour.

Beautiful location and views of Sydney. Hidden Sydney gem! Cocktails were delicious just need an option to have snacks all day rather then waiting till 5pm. Otherwise loved it and will be back

Excellent service, food and ambience. The staff were friendly & helpful, assisting with menu choices, and with the crutches that I'm currently using! The scallops are my new favourite food - although everything we ate was delicious. Well worth a visit.

Our server was very informative and friendly. The view from our plush couches was second to none. A great way to celebrate a special occasion!!!

Great atmosphere, food and drinks! The menu was really great and the staff very attentive. Even on a windy day the sun was glorious filtering through the windows.

Great hotel, fabulous views, yummy food (loved the brussel sprouts) and the staff were exceptional. This refurb of an 'old lady' of Sydney is just terrific. A great place to take a visitor to Sydney to showcase this amazing city.

The staff here are incredible! So friendly and funny. 2 of our party didnt turn up and they were fine about it. The view was amazing and the drinks and cheese platter devine! Perfect winter afternoon watching the sunset. Thanks guys xxx

Such a lovely spot, a great view around the harbour and wonderful friendly service. The oven was broken (fire brigade has been called out earlier) but that didn't spoil our fun.

Beautiful setting, interior and cocktails. The views of Sydey were stunning and got to enjoy sunset. We all tried different cocktails which tasted and looked amazing.

They have some of the most ridiculous charges I've ever heard of. Seems like they're trying to nickel and dime you at every turn. The first girl I spoke to was rude but the manager eventually resolved our issue which was much appreciated

Great food and 360 degree views. Service was good and they knew it, as I was charged a 10% gratuity. I would have preferred the option but I couldn't be bothered arguing the point.
