Hotel Palisade - Henry Deane

A group of 4 of us booked a table at the Henry Deane top floor of the Palisade. Did not stay as the area was so hot with the sun beaming in, the waitress would not let us lower the blind a fraction to make it more comfortable. The menu is very very limited and not one of us could find something we would order from the food menu. So we went elsewhere.

Great little rooftop restaurant with fantastic views. The cocktail menu was excellent and food delicious. The atmosphere was buzzing and staff very attentive. I would definitely go again!

We had a fabulous afternoon with superb views and the food was 10/10. However, the experience was severely soured by a total of 17% surcharge to our bill,costing us an additional $88 . Would definitely avoid going on a public holiday again.

A great view over Darling Harbour and the bridge lovely. A lovely selection of tapas style food and a good choice of wine. Tremendous service and consideration especially from the manager

Great service. Food very good. No issues with my service dog. The range of spirits was wide and all of quality. The food was well presented and well cooked. Best croquettes I have had in a long time

The food and service were brilliant but it was very hot on the couch by the window. The view was great but it became quite stifling due to the sun. I'd come back but would be checking the weather carefully next time.

Great atmosphere, yummy food and really good service. Some more vegetarian options wouldn't go a miss though! The table beside us had an extra guest which was a bit cosy, and the waitress could see so made space for them elsewhere - very much appreciated

Last minute change to accommodate an additional 2 people - staff went out of their way to accommodate. Food service fantastic - settings out of this world. The group of overseas people I had with me were most impressed.

The view is great / food fantastic. It was very hot and it took us a while to adjust the blinds / curtains to get comfortable. Sofa seating / chairs not so comfortable (chair was too high for the table height so I found myself crouching down the whole time). Service was somewhat sporadic. Overall the experience was good.

It is a sharing menu. Food is tasty but too much fried and oily , even the Brussel sprouts that are good but too fatty.

A fabulous location, delicious food, relaxed atmosphere, good service. Very special venue showing off Western Sydney Harbour - will be back for more - what a treat!

We had a lovely time at Henry Deane! The service was great and very attentive. The food was amazing...highly recommend the kingfish ceviche! Absolutely fabulous!

Stunning views great atmosphere good food friendly staff it was overall a special place and would recommend it especially for visitors to Sydney or a romantic night for two!

Great food but very noisy at night as it is more a bar than restaurant. Would be better for lunch and to enjoy beautiful views of Sydney harbour.

Great vista & vibe! Food was delicious, service really friendly, mixed crowd & a fab way to spend an evening! Return visit is a must!

Great food - good for sharing. Very attentive staff. The view outside is just amazing (!!!) but the interior decor is also stunning too. Definitely recommend.

Food was excellent - but staff had arrogant attitude. If you've got a bad back seating won't suit you - low soft couches and awkward chairs with low tables.

The food was wonderful with attentive waiters. The restaurant is situated on top of the Palisade pub so the view of Sydney was absolutely unbelievable!

Henry Deane had a wonderful atmosphere from the moment we walked in the door. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Interesting shared plates with lots of flavour. These came out individually so that the taste of each plate could be enjoyed. Great venue.

Excellent views (of course) and great vibe even midweek. Some confusion over what orders to what tables. Great menu choices and even better upon consumption.

The view is unrivaled. The food was great, the service was great and the drinks were great too. We will definitely be back. Recommend going during daylight hours to make the most of the view.

Perfect view, I think very overpriced however. For the 2 hours my girlfriends and I were there is was okay. I wouldn't spend me more than that because unless you have the money.

Beautiful views of the harbour bridge and surrounding area. Service was pretty good. Drinks were great. Although food looked great was was pretty average overall.

Itt is a pleasant place. A bit noisy and waitress trying to take plates away when. I was still eating. Nice views. Maybe go again.

Great location, food menu is up class and with a spectacular view , its a great place to be. Staff at the bar are cheerful while girl serving food seemed a bit stressed with work. Need to smile at least which suits the beautiful environment.

Great location, great food! Such a nice open glass venue with great views of Sydney and it's great the food is also excellent. Would highly recommend going out of your way to eat here!

We had been to the Palisade for drinks before and had been in the down stairs lounge area. This time we booked a table for 4 for dinner to celebrate my son's birthday. We were seated at a table by the window at the far end of the restaurant near the bar. Overall the service and food were good, view fabulous, but it was extremely noisy so had to shout to maintain a conversation. Left early due to noise levels.

fantastic, when we arrived we were pretty much seated right away even though we were early and it was heaving. Great and very swift service followed with delicious cocktails and yummy good!!

Great vibe, fabulous attentive service & yummy food. A small menu, however it offered the perfect choices for our lunch. Love the view from the Henry Deane it takes in the magic of Sydney town.

Food and wine were decent but not outstanding especially for the cost. But the atmosphere, views and service were all on point. Wouldn't rush back but was a great evening.

Awesome view and excellent service. We had a great time. The fish sandwich was particularly delicious. One of the best places in Sydney to eat with a view.

It's a lovely place, amazing decor, and the service was great. Not amazing value for money on the food front, so it's good for a couple of drinks overlooking the bridge but not really ideal if you're after a meal.

Perfect spot for a long ladies lunch! Amazing rooftop bar with the best views of Sydney! The frose and crispy brussell sprouts are a must!

We were seated in the Flying Fox area of Henry Deane which impressed our overseas guests with its fabulous view. Food and wine were excellent.

Excellent service and an amazing food, I must say it wasn’t cheap lunch but it’s worth it. You must book a table as it was fully booked when we went.

Great location, very relaxed, good quality food presented well. Cocktails were a stand out. Service was very friendly, but could be a bit slow. Overall the cost was good for the quality of the venue, food, drinks and location! Kitchen closed at 5pm was the only negative.

Bit pricey but good views, good service and decent food (we had most things on the menu) and drinks. You can’t really go wrong with it, especially for a special occasion.

I understand its a 2hrs sitting but I just felt rushed just so they can turn over a table.. especially when Its not a cheap place to eat & drink so I want to enjoy the moment rather then get pushed along.

Great location, beautiful views and delicious cocktails. 2hr seating time can be limiting - plan the rest of your night as this place is popular!
