Hotel Palisade - Henry Deane

Great location overlooking the bridge and outer islands. Food was excellent and share plates was a good option for our party of 4. Staff friendly and efficient and prices reasonable. Def recommend.

Overall great service and food was delicious, good for sharing; must also mention the spectacular view from almost every angle! Will definitely be going back sometime soon.

This is the place to go to impress your international guests. Great with a group or for a quick glass of bubbles and some oysters. The food, service and view are all incredible.

From the moment we walked in we were treated extremely well, warm and inviting staff regardless of some bad reviews I had read, we could not fault the staff at all. Not only did they present themselves well, they were always smiling and engaging. The male host was amazing, he couldn't do enough for us and sat down with us to discuss our choice of food. Food plates are a tad small, so probably best for 2, but solution is order more. Is more expensive than other venues, however having that view makes up for it. Toilets are communal, not in my favour. Great ladies afternoon out.

Don't be fooled by the size of the kitchen - the food that comes out of there is seriously good. Sensational view of Sydney's waterways too. Delightful venue - this is a much nicer option for travellers who need city-convenient accommodation in one of inner Sydney's few remaining villages. Sure beats staying in a huge multinational hotel chain!

Great place to wile away a Saturday afternoon. Can get a bit busy and the two Hour booking times are bit OTT when you want to make an afternoon of it, can get very hot up there on sunny days

Amazing view and great food - I took my significant other for our anniversary lunch and he loved it. We sat on the balcony overlooking the Sydney harbour bridge - impressive.

I was disappointed that I phoned the restaurant asking to change the reservation from 6 people to 8 which I was told I was unable to do however when we arrived the table was set for 8 people (2 friends missed out). Other than that the food was sensational.

Not the best experience - went to order drinks and was told it was table service and someone would be there shortly, after 30 plus minutes went and ordered drinks! Went upstairs to eat, the music made it near impossible to talk, food was ordinary and portions small, view was amazing and watching the sun set over the harbour great. Great venue but need to lift the game for service, expensive night out.

I had organised for a bridal party to celebrate at the Palisades and boy what an excellent decision that was. What a great venue. Staff were extremely helpful. Food and drinks were excellent. This will be a local from here on in.

Beautiful rooftop bar, a real gem in barangaroo. Food was great, but really it's the view you go for. Need to book if a big group.

Great food, good service, spectacular views and atmosphere. We went midweek to avoid the crowds and really enjoyed it, would be wary of coming here at the weekend without a booking.

I dined here today with a friend from interstate and despite the weather it is a fabulous location with amazing views. The fit out is beautiful and the food and service were excellent. I thoroughly recommend Henry Deane to anyone.

We love this place. Amazing views of inner harbour, Barangaroo headland and around to the harbour bridge. Great staff, yummy food and good wine and drinks list. Not cheap, but worth it for the venue, view and service.

Good food and great views. Service could be a little more attentive - drinks came out at different times and we could see our drinks just sitting there... Should also offer coffee.

Food was lovely as was the view. The waitress was not very friendly and somewhat tainted the experience. View was amazing as was fit out. Will come back.

Very busy and you could feel the complete stress from staff. No food menu given for lunch just drinks menu so we sat for half an hour before being able to grab someone to ask for the food menu. Felt like time on every seat we sat at was very limited and like we were going to be pushed off by staff who kept reminding us of the next booking. Cocktail tasted like salty water 😣. After lunch for the two of us we went downstairs and asked for a table for 10 as we had other guests arriving. We were told if the other 8 people did not arrive in 15 minutes we would loose the table. Everyone arrived but 2 people who were still on their way. We were then told we would have the two chairs for the remaining guests given to other people as they did not want to turn away business meaning when the two guests arrived there would be no seat for them. Not worth making it so difficult for a large group just to get a few more $ from someone else by taking two chairs away. Just made the whole experience unformtable and stressful. I had a headache after the evening. The guests arrived luckily and we managed to keep the chairs. It just isn't a relaxed experience. We were also constantly asked if we had ordered drinks and yet the lady asking could not take our order only another lady who rarely came over the to table to ask us. It was like the woman asking was ensuring we were spending money and yet the service to order drinks was basically non-existant. This all created a completely stressful atmosphere with staff wanting to pull money from you. Won't go again. View is great but not the customer experience.

View is the winner here. Menu had a heavy seafood focus which limited us. Unfortunately, the kitchen didn't cook our meat to order either. Cocktails are lethal but still reasonably balanced. Second visit was not as the first but I think still worth the long ahead advanced booking.

Go for drinks (although very expensive) the view is amazing. Food overpriced and small with not much choice for larger meals. Awesome decor and staff helpful. Very small space and quite noisy.

Delicious food, great views and very comfy seating. The staff are attentive and friendly and the drinks are great. Not many places can beat this on a beautiful Sydney day.

Delicious drinks to match an incredible view over Barangaroo and Sydney Harbour. This tops my list of all time favourite bars in Sydney! Highly recommended!

Great views and staff very attentive & polite. No coffee machine anywhere in the hotel though - a mystery as most bars these days have them, esp as they serve quite a lot of food.

Fantastic food. Menu is very short, but the kitchen is very small, so understandable. We had all veggo options, absolutely yummy all of them! Service was a little slack, but with the views and food - we let that slide.
