Best Japanese food in Perth and fabulous service 😀 I could not fault this restaurant. We will all definitely be back soon.... thank you very much.

Good location but parking can be an issue. Welcoming and attentive staff, good limited lunch menu. Food is excellent and the BYO option at certain times is most welcome. Highly Recommended.

Delicious fresh food. The Salmon Don was full of flavour. Bento box is large and full of yummy little bits and pieces. Service a little slow

Faultless - No question !! From the moment we arrived we were made feel most welcome and every possible need was attended to promptly and with a smile. Our order was taken quickly and efficiently and in no time we were dining on exquisite gyoza and tori karaage entrees. Wife was very content with her plum wine and the Yebisu beer was much to my liking. Mains was a King Snapper Teriyaki with Mixed Vegetable Tempura accompanied by miso and steamed rice. Each dish was delightfully prepared/cooked and possibly the best Japanese we have had in Perth!!! (and their has been quite a few). Finally, the service was impeccable with each dish arriving almost the instant the previous course was completed. Would we recommend Hayashi.... we just did, and very highly indeed.

Staff where wonderful really helpful as I had gone there with a 100 year old lady in a wheel chair. Food was goo. Great value for money.

Beautiful authentic food, friendly service and a great atmosphere. Decorated with Japanese influences. I place I recommend and keep coming back to regularly. Try it. 😊

Excellent food as usual. The mixed sashimi was very good and loved the lotus root chips. Good range of sake. Staff are friendly and efficient. Possibly getting a touch on the expensive side.

good food, service is slow and inattentive. when prompted they don't get it, saying claiming to be busy... but there were empty tables.... really disappointing.

Took the family out for dinner on the weekend and enjoyed great service and relaxing atmosphere. Started meal with Gyoza (family favorite) and all had a different meal and enjoyed.

Didn't enjoy it - sashimi wasn't served on ice & without ginger/wasabi, udon was chewy and we were served with a metal spoon! Tempura - texture gave away the frozen prawns and batter way too oily, difficult to swallow. Sorry but we won't be back. It has a Japanese name to it but food certainly wasn't authentic.

A long wait for food even though restaurant didn't seem very busy. The food was very nice when it eventually came out though! A bit expensive but was a nice meal out

We enjoyed the food, beautifully presented and tasty. The service was polite, helpful and friendly. We will certainly recommend to our friends and will by all means eat there again.

As always, the food was absolutely delicious. The service is sometimes a bit slow, but the staff are so friendly which makes up for it. We love it and will be back. :)

We had a delicious authentic Japanese meal with prompt and excellent service. Would highly recommend this Japanese Restaurant. It was nicely decorated and a very pleasant dining area.

Good ambience and is suitable for family or meeting with friends for a nice dinner. Food was good especially the Chicken Katsu bento set I ordered. Food was served really quickly unlike my previous dining experience here more than a year ago, where I had to wait more than 30 minutes for my main.

Booked on a whim, and glad that we did. Great looking restaurant, food looked and tasted wonderful and not too expensive! Would recommend it to others.

Had the beef teppanyaki - cooked well with a lovely garlic flavour. Wife had the teriyaki salmon which was nice too. Worth trying Gyoza as an entree as well.

Nice clean restaurant with beautiful food and great service, will definitely be going back to try the rest of the menu, just needs to be closer to my house!! Lol

The sashimi here was really fresh. Had their in-house wine and was pleasantly surprised as well. Bento boxes are of a healthy size and portions generally are big.

Delicious food as usual. We eat at this restaurant regularly and always get food of an excellent standard. Menu has changed and is really interesting.

Excellent service , great menu , delicious food 😃.. an all round terrific experience. I Will definitely be back .. parking is available behind the restaurant , just ask the staff for the remote 😃

Thoroughly enjoyed our meals. They had a special menu for gluten-free meals. My wife and I enjoyed the service and the food was absolutely delicious. Will definitely go back again!

Hayashi restaurant is a great place to dine. It's location at Apple Cross is easy to find. Food was excellent coupled with the cheerful service makes it a dining experience.

Wonderful experience. Had the large mixed sashimi platter and well as the hiramasa entree - they are both must try's! For mains we had the beef teppenyaki and snapper teriyaki and both were great.

We got there early but they let us sit and order as soon as we where ready. The food came out hot and it was all really fresh tasting, will definitely be going back.

Delicious, high quality food. Fabulous friendly and knowledgable staff. Quite pricey but good for a special occasion. The chicken sushi rolls were yummy and the pickled ginger was fresh and tasty.

Lovely food, with a nice quiet atmosphere, wait staff were very nice and polite . Large drinks menu , in the entertainment book , good price.

Service and food were both excellent. Some dishes were unique and I've never seen or tried them in other Japanese restaurants. I enjoyed this place a lot.

We had a party of 4 with us and everyone ordered different dishes, I had the Beef Teppanyaki, 2 others had the Chicken Katsu and one had sushi. Decent quantities and quality was superb. You must try the Lotus Root Chips! Wow! We'll definitely be back.

Great night out - good service and the food was, as always, delicious. The portions aren't huge but it's in the Entertainment Book so very worthwhile visiting.

The food was excellent, and delicious. Cold beer in iced glasses. Calm, welcoming atmosphere. Service wasn't great but they apologised for being short-staffed. We'll go again.

Lovely fresh food with great flavour. My daughter loves the bento boxes! Staff friendly and accommodating. I would recommend for anyone wanting a relaxing night out.

The night start very nicely with our entrees coming out promptly. The mains were decidely slower. The food overall was of very good standard. 6 out of 10.
