They must have mixed up our orders. 4 orders of noodles came out exceptionally late (when all the shared dishes have been eaten and the other guests were ready to leave). The last 4 persons had to gobble their food quickly.

Service good, food very good, ambience good, i will recommend

We were looking forward to a special night out with delicious food for good value. Food was disgusting mostly inedible. Serves were minuscule and prices exorbitant. Have been a regular Hayashi customer for. probably 30+ years. A good lesson on how to instantly destroy a business. What a pity it used to be outstanding now a disgrace. Last night $230 for three for probably the worst I have ever been served vs fine food for two for $120 previously.

The Teriyaki Beef had very little beef, and the majority was fat. The staff asked to remake it, but we would have preferred it taken off the bill.

Great dining experience and great food. Call the restaurant if you cant find parking, they will accommodate that. On a personal note, front staff didn't speak anyJapanese.

I read reviews and wasnt sure whether we should go there for dinner, but decided to give it a try! It was great! Happy that we made it there! You get the usual Japanese fare, and at a reasonable price. We liked especially the salmon sashimi, and beef tataki, the chicken udon soup was surprisingly tasty, loved the bowl! Special mention that service was damn fast and good! Service with a smile from opening the door for us, to taking our orders. The service robot brought our orders before we even warmed up our seats! It was that fast! 😄😄👍🏼 And we had no problem using the Entertainment Book discount.

It took so long for the food to come. When my husband got his dish, both myself and my daughter had finished our dinner.

best Japanese restaurant Expensive but good quality food. We were at table 16 and next to another couple. There was a screen between us but we could hear everything they were saying. that was a bit off putting.

been to hayashi a few times & loved the experience but last night the robot & a young lady got the better of us. The robot stopped our table & the next table & no where else. when robot first arrived we had to get up & serve ourselves then found a few dishes were not ours only to be told that we should have only taken from the lit up tray. we informed her that all trays were lit so someone else came ,& it was up to us to check our order from the qr code. after this a polite lady brought food to us then robot brought the rest & we waited to let staff know that there Waa another mix up. table next to us had same issue & this spoilt the night for us. x

Great little restaurant close to the swan river. Great selection of Japanese food.

Food was great with plenty of choices, nice atmosphere and extensive drinks list.

The sushi was spectacular as was the teppanyaki beef(although now increased in price by a large amount). Service was good as well. Keen to go back again.

Food is always good! Definitely good to try if you are in for Quality Japanese food.

I just love the Sashimi. They are so fresh especially the salmon. The rest of the dishes ordered are above average. Environment is quiet despite it being eve of Father's day. Parking was a hassle but was later informed by the waitress that they have a parking at the back of the restaurant. Should have checked earlier. Will absolutely revisit, to go for the sashimi:)
