Does not have that authentic Japanese atmosphere, but it's modern, clean and the food is decent.

The staff at Hayashi has consistently raised their customer service level and friendliness. They made our recent dining experience a wonderful and pleasurable one!! Keep up the great work.

Service was poor. Staff disinterested in customers. I wanted to use my Entertainment card but was told I could only have used it if ordering off the Ala carte menu. I was only given the lunch menu and didn’t even know there was another menu. When I said that the staff member ignored me. Disappointing.

Sashimi was not as good as we expected, tuna was very bad. My son ordered a beer, it wasn't cold enough. Karaage chicken has a lots of skin, I feel like ripped off. As I am Japanese, I don't go back there again.

It is a nice restaurant. The overall food and service are good and attentive. Just a little more training for the staff will make it perfect! We went on a Tuesday night. Although there were not many customers, we were put in a table right next to another table. As there are lots of other available tables, they should put customers a bit further away from each other to allow more privacy. The order of food coming out was not ideal too. Entree, sashimi or sushi should come before hot dishes.

Decor nice and bright. Would like tablecloths and not the paper on table. Food fresh and service prompt. Good selection of drinks. Parking can be a problem.

New Years Eve dinner for three was sensational with Lotus chips, seaweed salad, Yuki Udon, prawn tempura, steamed rice and Californian roll served promptly and vibrantly fresh. Green tea to compliment and faultless service. A favourite place because they get so much right.

We arrived at 12.25pm for lunch and the restaurant was quite busy. Nevertheless, we were served promptly by the wonderful and friendly staff. Food was great! It was a little noisy as there was a large group of diners near us. Overall, we had a good time.

Everything about this restaurant is great. We make a point of introducing our friends to Hayashi, and they are never disappointed. The food, the service, the atmosphere all A1 in our book; it's definitely our 'go to' restaurant for Japanese cuisine and experience.

Attentive and friendly service - they accommodated our slowness to get round to selecting from the menu and we’re efficient without being too evident. Lovely food - great presentation and flavour. We’ll definitely be back.

The staff were very friendly but I felt our service was a bit slow compared to other tables around us. Also one of our main dishes came out and then we waited quite a while for the other dishes. There was a very large table near us with a number of children who were a bit noisy. Although I know this is out of the hands of the staff- perhaps we could have been seated somewhere else. The food was very nice.
