We go to Hank's Bar on Mondays for the Rump steak special & have never been disappointed with a meal. They serve good sized portions for what you pay & the flavour of the steak is outstanding. Combined with a good serve of chips & great salad with a tasty dressing, this is great value for money with fast service a friendly atmosphere. This Monday night special is very popular, so it pays to book ahead.

it was a lot of people, which is good for restaurant, not good for gests. We got number 4 table, but next to us, was a big table with a lot of people, (someone birthday). The problem was that people next to us stand around their table, and therefore they back where close to our faces, it was not pleasant at all. The tables were too close to each other.

I went to Hanks for my birthday lunch, we made a reservation & our table was ready when we arrived, the staff were great, friendly & professional. I had my 4 young grandkids with me & they loved it, especially the activity packs & ice cream, all round the food was great, good-sized portions at a decent price, this is my second visit to Hanks & won't be my last, definitely recommend it.

Food was average steak was overcooked for med/well Chicken snitty average Pizza was decent Staff were lovely though

The restaurant itself is ok, but the tables were very close together, more like a sheep pen. Fish seemed dry not sure if it was barra, but no. Don't think I will go again....salad was nice though

Had Sunday Roast. Good points- carrots and cauliflower were very tasty Not so good points-I like crispy veggies but the beans were raw, roast potatoes were very dry and skin was like leather. Obviously been overcooked or sitting in a Bain Marie for a long time.Roast beef was passable though a bit dry. Overall probably got what I paid for

Hanks is always a great place to go for a great meal and you can’t beat $20 for a great steak on a Monday 👍

Dinner wasn’t cooked properly and was raw it then took 30 minutes for a new meal which was when everybody else was finished and it was burnt.

Was ok, they forgot to put order as it was busy, manager apologized and was very attentive because of the error and compensated us with free drink

Longer than average wait for meals to come out. Some of the meals were good but the grilled snapper was undercooked & dry & the garlic prawns had way too much garlic (& I love garlic). Staff were nice though
