Good food, prompt and friendly service and cold beer. Good place for a lunchtime catch-up. Have driven past many times and will now add this to our list of places to go.

We celebrated my son's birthday and had a wonderful time. The staff were friendly and the meals were delicious and well priced. Overall a great night!

Service was ok. I ordered a steak cooked medium but received a steak cooked well done. Disappointing to have to pay extra for sauce for the steak. Bit too noisy in restaurant.

The food was generously sized but the staff were not attentive despite it being a Tuesday night and very quiet (it was raining). i ordered the special beef lasagna; there was more pasta layers rather than filling unfortunately. Polenta chips were amazing as usual!

Fantastic! Loved the atmosphere and ambience. The service staff looked tired but friendly. Took some time to get parking. The food.. I loved it. Delicious and value for money.. will surely go there again..

Delicious food, good service and comfortable atmosphere. Will definitely be back for more gnocchi! The only downside was difficulty finding parking, but it is Christmas season.

Attentive staff. Nice to have water served upon being seated. Food, though not brilliant it is satisfying. Maybe a little overpriced for what you get.

This was our first time at The Groove Train and we loved it. We will definitely be back. The food was really good and portions were huge. Atmosphere was good without being overly noisy.

Tasty and serviceable food, atmosphere a little loud but to be expected as dining area is open and family-friendly, would return for close to home meals.

We had a very helpful, lovely waitress. All the breakfast items we ordered were very generous in size and delicious. We would come here again.

The food was excellent-each dish was fantastic-pizzas, pastas and salads, service exemplary. Sat outside on the terrace in the sun so I would highly recommend.

Another great night at Groove Train. The service is always quick, efficient and friendly and the food is always fresh, tasty and great. Try and make room for dessert because it is always delicious.

Food was good but it was unfortunate that they were able to get the date of an online booking wrong. Not a great start to the evening!

Dinner was great. Excellent service. Staff very helpful when asked questions on menu. Need to fix the blind to stop the sun in your eyes.

Had to wait to be seated, drinks order taken, food order taken. Service not terribly attentive, but a great menu selection. Food was only average though.

The food was tasty and well presented. The service was friendly but very slow, even though the restaurant was not busy (on a Sunday lunchtime.)

Staff friendly and obliging. The Food was very good. Disappointed the restaurant does not take AMEX, but not a huge issue. We would definitely go again.

Service was good, but we had to wait for a while in between entree and main. Food portion was big and delicious. I think it's worth the money.

when you expected a spoon with a mega shake it didn't come with one i had to ask for one. Though the service and food was quick and very filling. yum yum

Food was amazing! Comfortable environment, however service wasn't great. I had to ask for the dessert menu after finishing our mains half an hour before I asked. Toilet roll holders were broken in the toilet and my roll was laying on the floor.

Staff very helpful. Happy to move us to a table away from the cold draught that swept in every time the front door opened. Meals good. Thai calamari salad (had it once before when the chilli level was virtually unbearable but they let us check the chilli dressing before ordering last night and it was good) and beef salad both enjoyable.

Food was delicious, atmosphere was great, service was excellent, and the cost of the food ordered was reasonable. I would definitely recommend to my friends and family.

Dinner with the family - excellent service and atmosphere. Had been here previously and the experience then was great. Service was prompt and friendly, with our meals arriving in a timely manner. Highly recommended.

Disgusting food- will never go back. My seafood risotto was disgustingly bland, my brothers satay chicken barely had any meat and was overflowing with watered down rice. I will never go back.

The food took ages to come out. The staff were great and the manager gave us free drinks while we waited for our food to arrive. Food was nice.

A bit noisy music too loud made talking difficult- waiter with attitude,main meal too much chilli and sweets -choc mousse was hard on top and not served with cream and strawberries had to ask waiter to bring these - she came out with a very large serve of cream and strawberries x2 and plonked them on the table - was really not was requested

Food Overpriced, the meal wasn't nice at all and they brought out our entree and main at the same time. Never go back there very disappointing.

Have been here many times before and always been good. This time however staff were abrupt and short. Was also what appeared to be an animal hair in my food.

A lunch with 6 friends today and it was very good. Excellent, friendly, efficient service and delicious food. A great place to have a meal. Highly recommend it.

Ambience was nice. Service was prompt and friendly. The restaurant was clean. The grooves tasting favourites platter I ordered was a bit too salty. Dessert was very good.

We had a lovely lunch at the Groove Train in Burwood East. The service was good & food was lovely & generous servings at a reasonable price. I would definitely be back again.

Delicious food, staff prompt and friendly, reasonably priced. Good option for families. Service a little slow at times however, it's worth the wait.

Usually enjoy the Groove Train however the last visit was on a major celebration day and we were hurried along and annoyed every 5 minutes by the wait staff. It was not enjoyable at all and we could not relax because they were hurrying people along so they could fit in the next shift! I will ensure I don't go here on a busy celebration day again. Other than that I've enjoyed it previously.

Great food in a busy fun filled environment. The staff were friendly and happy to assist. I will be going back there again soon to enjoy this great restaurant. Plenty of space to park.

We had a Lovely Night. Great service, good food. Generous serves. Our table enjoyed club sandwich, lamb souvlaki and delightful polenta chips. Followed by herbal tea. Yum
