Great service. Catered well for our larger group. Pleasant staff.

Had an enjoyable dinner as a group of 10 people. Service was fast and friendly, food and drinks range were good. Would definitely be a repeat customer.

Apart from one disagreement with the manager after being accused of using up the balance of a new gift card purchased through the same restaurant, all other experiences hear have been good. I love the lamb pizza

Food was good but service was terrible it took forever to be be served and they wouldn't take food and drink order at the same time hence we had to wait another 15min for our food order to be taken

The Groove Train is always pretty solid. The menu is strong and varied, but I was disappointed they no longer have the green curry chicken, which was the best I’ve ever had.

Enjoyed our risotto for dinner. My wife had the pumpkin risotto and I had the chicken risotto. It was lovely. We recommend a family dinner there anytime. The staff are excellent and friendly. It was quite busy even for a Saturday. Says a lot about the Groovers.

Staff are really nice here but the food, location and ambience are really average. I guess it is a restaurant chain and perhaps you go here because it is average and that's all you're after, I just think the food is overpriced given the quality.

Food was ok, service was ok. Played a pre-school age song while we were eating that seemed to go for 15 mins. Overall ok experience

As always food was great, though this time the service was a little under par. Our group of 9 enjoyed a great pre-theatre dinner, catching up in great surroundings.

Food was great, service great, ambience poor. . .too noisy . . . in need of sound baffles on walls and carpet on the floor. Otherwise, not a bad place to go to for a get-together dinner.

Prompt and friendly service, excellent food, large servings - 10/10! I happened to be looking out the window and saw a lady drop something whilst running through the carpark in the rain and one of the waiters ran outside in the pouring rain, running around the carpark until he found the lady and returned her keys! Now that's service! :-)

Kid friendly, clean quiet - meals are huge It would be great if they had smaller options. We may have had dessert if main wasn't so big.

Great food, generous quantity. Prompt table service aswell. Loved the Pink Floyd music in the background. Our group ordered the fisherman's basket and salt and pepper calamari. Fresh and wonderful tasting

The fishermans basket was fantastic, it was the prawns and Scollops on skewers were almost cold when the meal arrived, everything else was really good.

There was great variety of food to choose from, and there was prompt service where the food was served quite quickly. We didnt have to wait too long. with the main meals we would have liked to have a bigger serve of veges or salad, but overall it was very nice. Drinks seemed a bit expensive especially for a glass.

Steaks were great! Were cooked just as we wanted. Staff are very friendly, food is good. Big tables, lots of space. Definitely will recommend the place to all my friends.

Friendly service. Huge meals. Good variety. Did not charge extra for bringing own birthday cake. Given a free bottle of champagne... Lovely surprise, much appreciated.

Great service and fabulous food! We always enjoy ourselves when we eat at Groove Train, no matter what location we end up at. It become our go to place because there is something for everyone and we are always well looked after!

Good friendly place, good meals and service is quick and helpful, all the meals came out at once so it was a great experience. it is worth going there.

I just went here with friends for my birthday and they had a great tasting variety of dishes and generous servings. The staff were friendly and always available. The desserts weren't as good as the main meals but weren't bad either. I will definitely be returning to try other things on the menu.

The food was excellent, good service. The only thing was that the Tiger beer was advertised @ $6 & they charged us $8 which they said was the right price!

The food was delicious, we had the fisherman's basket. The waitress there are very friendly. Will be back again for another meal next time with family.

Great location and great atmosphere. Not too noisy, plenty of room and good food. Even when there was a little hiccup with the food, the staff tried their best to resolve it. Definitely will be going back.

Food was ok but ambience was good. Lots of seating especially booth sitting was fun with a toddler. Kids meal wasn't too bad either. Definitely a family restaurant.

Ordered the fish and chips. The meal itself was alright but no salad dressing and salad was very droopy. Fish and chips themselves were ok.

Been to this location a few times and find there is very quick service. The staff are very attentive and friendly. It's a lovely place to catch up for a meal or a few drinks.

Food was terrible, cold and tasteless. Obviously it wasn't cooked fresh, but heated in microwave instead. The worst restaurant I've been to in a while.

We had a 1pm reservation with a party of 8 and food service was very slow. There were only three other smaller tables in at the time which doesn't seem overly busy for a lunch hour. Nobody was wowed with their food either. My particular choice, the Southern Fried Chicken Burger had a very confused spicy flavor, almost more of an Asian chili spice than Southern Fried. Another colleague order the Porterhouse done medium and it came out Well done and chewy. Service staff were reasonably friendly at the start but became scarce once the food was delivered. Overall not a great experience and certainly not one that we would highly recommend for a office lunch choice. We were not in a rush, but had it been a typical work lunch we would have had to asked for takeaway as slow as the food was to come out.

Food was extremely average for the price paid. Dishes were somewhat bland and lacked dimension and flavour. The service was fine however so no complaints

Food was nice but average. Slightly overpriced for what it was. Main issue were the staff- it was pot n Parma night, but as we were driving we couldn't drink alcohol. We asked for a soft drink instead but they refused. (Only place I know that doesn't do it). We also asked for chicken breast instead of tenderloins in a salad but they refused. In addition, the waiter was extremely intrusive- removing plates with food still on them. Then next time aggressively asking 'are you done?!' Before taking the plate. We also asked for the entree to be served first, but all the meals came at once. Was about a 50 min wait. Wasn't horrible But wouldn't recommend.

Food was good, however the service was a little slow. Had to ask the manager to take our orders and clear the table after the meal.

The service was good and they let us split the bill. The waiter was very patient while we waited for a very late friend. The food didn't blow me away but it was tasty.

Booking was simple, atmosphere was warm and friendly. There is an upbeat feel about the venue but not noisy. The staff were great, i would definitely be back.

It took 1 hour and 30 minutes for our food to arrive. We had to ask on the progress of our order and were told 10 minutes at the 1 hour mark but it took a further follow up 30mins later. A pizza, fishermans basket, Fish and a risotto. Whilst they discounted our meal and apologized and we understand things go wrong sometimes but there was no communication from the team members and that added to the bad experience. Unfortunately we wont be back. Thank you.

The staff were friendly but the food was ordinary. A chicken with noodles dish lacked chicken, and who wants cauliflower in their stirfry? The rocket salad was sad and turning yellow yuck!

The service was excellent. The meals were very generous in size. However, the two mains we ordered weren't the best. One was too salty, the other one the prawns weren't very fresh.

I have been here a few times and the experience is always the same - friendly staff, great service and good food at reasonable prices.

From the moment I walked in the staff were attentive . The food was SENSATIONAL M, I had Thai Calamari Salad which would say was the BEST Calamari I have ever had and sent my compliments to the kitchen! Would definitely return just for the Calamari again!!
