Excellent service & food. Very happy with the experience. We had a great night out with family which consisted of 4 adults & 4 kids
Great place for a casual meal for guests of all ages. We ended up with 2 extra people than booked for and it was no problem to them whatsoever. Good, attentive service. I enjoyed my birthday celebration with family and friends! Thanks Groove Train Burwood
My husband and I went with our 2 small kids for the first time as a family. We were pleasantly surprised at the speed of service and food delivery. The food was really really good, especially the calamari and the gnocchi. Servings were very generous. Almost too large. Will return for sure.
The service was great. We had a party of 11 and one of us needed to leave early. The staff made sure the plate came out first for that person who needed to leave. The food was delicious. The rest of the meals came out together very shortly. Nice clean restaurant.
Food was disappointing. My friend got a chicken risotto which was served to him cold. We order a dip platter for the table which cost $17.5 with two ordinary dips and flat bread which was paper thin burnt bread. And the Fish and chips -fish was over cooked and dry.
There were many food options on the menu to choose from but didn't taste all that great - very moderate for the price you pay... Think I would have been much more happier at a food court in a shopping mall. Wait staff were alright. I will definitely never return
Great food great service. Would definitely go back. The only issue I had was the wait time for the food to come out but it was a busy Mother's Day morning.
My wife and have been members for over 2 years and occasionally have breakfast at Burwood East. We have also booked tables for special occasions: Birthdays and, yesterday, Mothers' Day. We were lucky to get our booking as it was made last Friday. The place was buzzing when we arrived at 2pm and a couple of our guests were late. So, naturally, we didn't order our meals until that came. All meals were well presented and enjoyed by all. Drinks and serving staff were pleasant, courteous and efficient. Thank you Groove Train.
Some staff more interested in walking around instead of providing service and customer interaction. There was nothing wrong with the quality of food just the quality of staff
Service was punctual, return of drinks ordered not as quick. I has a gourmet lamb pizza which was very good and more than I could eat. A couple of others at the table had lamb and a curry who thought they were OK but not great. Unfortunately the coffee order was forgotten. I don't think it would stop us from going again.
Wasn't a busy night but they were very slow to get us drinks or even ask for more or how was everything. Have had better at other Groove Train within Melbourne
Good food, and nice service. was made to feel welcomed which was nice. Food portions were also on the good side but not over the top.
Great food and excellent service. Not noisy. The restaurant has a nice feel about it. Will definitely go back again. Staff lovely and friendly. Thanks for having us.
Food was good but I asked for it to be more spicy n it wasn't. Great place n customer service was Spot on. A bit pricey for many simple dishes.
Great food great service a little expensive though this is the 2nd time I've gone and kids didn't get their dessert a bit disappointing otherwise good
Behave a,ways struggled to find a lighter option for lunch, found the focaccia' today, perfect. Lovely chicken, avocado etc, satisfying while still able to eat my dinner later on.
Food was reasonable, service was reasonable. Overall it was ok, but not wonderful. They should serve sangria by the glass and a cider other than Somersby.
Great place for Breakfast. Good food, good coffee, good staff, quick service. There were 8 people in our group and everyone was happy with their meals.
Our waitress Amelia was friendly and helpful. There were so many delicious sounding options on the menu it was hard to choose! Thank you for an enjoyable experience.
Speed 5 Quality of food 8 Overall 10 Had a really good time
Welcoming and very friendly staff. Great coffee, main meal and dessert. Loved the air conditioning as it was a very warm day, but he table water could have been cold and not warm from the tap . Definitely be heading back there another day.
My family and I ordered pizzas, burgers & chicken parmagina. The food was delicious. The staff were friendly and accomodating. The toilets were clean and there was sufficient soap for washing hands. The billing was honest and correct and I was happy that I could pay by Mastercard. I would have given a rating of 6 if I was able to pay by American Express- my preferred credit card.
The service was wonderful the waitress was so friendly and even though the resturant was busy there was no delays in receiving the meals and plates were cleared punctually.
The Groove Train at Burwood One Shopping Centre offers lots of delicious and healthy options to choose from on the menu and good, friendly service.
The food here is good but the service is bad. There's no beer on tap despite it being on the menu. They are slow to take your order and very very slow to bring drinks out. I wouldn't go back.
Error by staff in processing payment. Had no idea how to fix their error. Manager attempted to assist but he too was unable to address. What made things worst staff processed error but failed to advise me until I picked up error. Disappointing response by manager.
Great experience! The staff at this establishment are well trained and pleasant. Our drink orders were taken on arrival and entrees were recommended while we were deciding on mains. There was a great atmosphere, music was not too loud but loud enough to enjoy and still have conversation. The owner was always present and lovely to talk to. The food was delicious, with zero complaints around the table. Portions sizes were generous and definitely worth the money. Overall, we all had a lovely evening and will surely be back again.
Went to Groove Train Burwood twice within about 10 days, and on both occasions the service left a bit to be desired. Both times one of the dining party ordered a meal that wasn't available, but they were only told it wasn't available when the meals for other diners were being delivered to the table. They should've been told much earlier so that they could make an alternative choice that would be served up with the rest of the meals.
