Atmosphere and service good but food very average, bordering on fast food. The tapas service wasn’t paced either - just dumped all 5 courses on the table at once. Good place for a first drink and light snack then head somewhere else for dinner.

Absolute favourite place in Sydney - great food, great staff, great location. The best, most inventive cocktails, which aren't too expensive (especially during happy hour)

Great food, awesome venue with a superb menu range. Everyone who served us was lovely and able to make recommendations. 5 tapas dishes and 2 glasses of wine for$67. 6 stars. Definitely heading back again!

Went there last weekend for drinks, the door-woman was really friendly as were staff, quick service, great drinks. Decent sized cheese board, good value for money.

Friendly Doorman, friendly staff, quick services, really good food, decent prices and omg fairyfloss cocktail!!! So Good. Among other cocktails they can make custom drinks, I thoroughly enjoyed this place, it does get a bit loud at night, make sure you book a table to get a spot without having to wait.

Nice and friendly service. Delicious meatballs and menu. Cocktails not overly expensive The only negative was that the waiters kept clearing plates as soon as last bit of food eaten and while others on table were still eating. giod to be efficient but equally annoying and rude. Would been better if they cleared table once everyone had finished meal.

Terrible, terrible, terrible. Everything from the service to the food was subpar. They were extremely rude to myself and my party. Then the food was cold and tasted awful. I'd give 0 if I could.

Amazing cocktails, great food, fun atmosphere and outstanding service! Couldn't ask for much more on a fun girls night out! Highly recommend! Thank you John, Francesco and team your hospitality was second to none!

The service was pretty bad, seemed like a lot of untrained staff. Cocktails were good, food was average. I was so looking forward to this night out but was very disappointed.

We went with a group of girls for a birthday and had an amazing time. The food was mouthwatering and the cocktails absolutely delicious! Can't wait to go back.

3 of us were seated at a small high table by the side of the room. I was a little confused by this when there were larger tables available that no one was sitting at. When we asked could we move we were told the tables were reserved but no one sat at them the whole 3 hours that we were at at restaurant. The food was yummy, cocktails were to die for but when we asked to split the bill, which i have done many times before at the same place we were told it could it split by 2 but not by 3. Very strange if you ask me. But overall a good evening

Great food and drinks but not the best service. They tend not to notice anyone towards the front and one of the wait staff just seemed rude.

I've been wanting to try Lil Darlin for a while and the cocktails definitely lived up to expectations however the food was a bit of a disappointment-I ordered a Mexican pizza and it was quite bland. The staff were lovely though and I'd go back again for a few drinks.

We had a nice time and enjoyed the cocktail menu. Three people ordered the calamari salad (which was just calamari and leaves when it arrived) but unfortunately they all said it was very bland and didn't taste of much. They asked for extra dressing which was provided. Perhaps the salad needs a bit more than just leaves? The duck roll and a burger were very nice and the girls filled up on the leftover fries from the burger. A nice venue, think we were just unlucky with that dish.

Excellent overall, though timing of the sharing plates came out too thick-n-fast for our little table -- but otherwise a wonderful time and excellently friendly staff.

Only 1 waitress working on a busy Friday night. Water was put on the table without glasses when we asked for glasses they were forgotten, ended up going and getting them myself. Took a long time to order, when we did the cocktails were forgotten. Shame as when the cocktails eventually arrived they were good.

A fabulous restaurant! We enjoyed the drinks, meals, and best client service ever! SUCH nice people and what a pleasure to dine there. We hope to be back when we return to AUS - hopefully soon! Best bartender ever!!!

For our traditional Christmas eve dinner we chose Lil Darlin this year. Fantastic vibe, great food and drinks, very nice hosts. We loved the evening.

Best cocktails in town with heaps of variety and great service staff always have a smile and make you welcome. Always love coming to lil darlin.

Great taas Pizza especially the Peking Duck, friendly service and really good cocktails and cocktail selection. A little noisy for conversations but then again, it's a bar!

Great food, great cocktails and great atmosphere. I came to lil darlin on a Saturday night with a few friends and it was very lively. Being a tapas style restaurant I enjoyed sharing multiple dishes to get a flavour of everything. Will be coming back!!

Great food, a lovely friendly proprietor and terrific cocktails. Accommodating when we were running late. Loved the Peking duck pizza and burgers were great. A bit noisy but fun.

Terrible night, would not return. Took 40mins to order each drink (2 bar staff trying to make cocktails for a packed venue doesn't work, especially when one of them seemed to be in training and didn't know what he was doing). The food was average quality (especially the pizzas - soggy dough!). Despite booking our table was three circular cocktail tables pushed together, which was then pushed against the wall so we were in a row and couldn't talk to one another. We were also in the dark in the back corner, literally had to use our phones to read the menu. We couldn't wait to get out of there.

Good food, awesome service. Music was way to loud for the time of night we were there madeit uncomfortable when having to yell across the table to just talk.

The drinks were amazing, Absolutely loved the fairy floss martini, the door man was so nice, and the bartenders and staff we're super friendly. The food is great, I wish I had more room at the time to order more. Too full hahahaha.

Staff were excellent, friendly & helpful. The bar was a little slow but it was clearly busy so we were happy to wait, especially when the cocktails are amazing as they were.

went to the darlinghurst branch on a friday evening. maybe because it was understaffed, or maybe because it was just too busy. The food was 6/10 at best. we have heard so much of the pizza - it was soggy and the base was undercooked.

BEAUTIFUL, fun, sweet cocktails! A perfect venue for a birthday cocktail with friends. We didn't order much food which we definitely regretted, because it looked amazing!

Great environment with great service. Food and drinks were amazing, definitely a place to go with a group of friends to have a good time or celebrate an occasion.

Positives: The food was really good, fast service our meals came out in less then 15mins and the staff were really attentive my drink was always full. Negatives: The seating was uncomfortable, We sat on bar stools which werent very kind :). Overall a really great night

The food and wine were excellent and the service was efficient but unobtrusive which is just what you want when you're catching up with old friends. I would definitely recommend this place for the atmosphere and food.
