Authentic Korean and Asian cuisine have truly found a worthy home at Gangnam at Carousel Perth. Located right on Albany Highway in Cannington, this is the perfect place for a big feed no matter what direction you’re coming from. The decor is cool with exposed brickwork and modern furniture, while the food packs a seriously flavourful punch that will leave you wanting more every single time. One of our favourite ways to eat out is Korean BBQ, and this Cannington spot does it excellently. We’re talking delicious options such as pork belly, spicy Scotch fillet, squid and pork bulgogi and everything else in between. Seriously, the skilled team at Gangnam at Carousel Perth ain’t messing around!
But let’s delve a little bit deeper into the menu at Gangnam, then shall we? Bibimbap has a big place in our heart, and we’re happy to report that the bibimbap on offer (served in an authentic stone bowl) is some of the best around. Plus, the dish can be amended to accommodate vegetarians, vegan and gluten-free diners. Order it with squid and kimchi for a real treat! If you’re in the mood for something a little bit different, we cannot recommend the cheese bul dak enough. It consists of skinless chicken fillets and chopped chilli cooked in an extremely spicy chilli paste, and is served on a bed of onions with melted mozzarella cheese on top. Dreamy stuff, no?
