Amazing food, great service. Will definitely be coming back! We particularly enjoyed the roasted red duck curry and the pad Thai, absolutely delicious with fresh prawns. Can’t wait to try more of the menu.

Great food, especially the appetisers. Lovely cocktails, albeit very sweeet! The service was ok but a bit slow, although it was busy when we were there.

Rather enjoyable evening but i was blessed with great company. Staff that night were well drilled and seemed happy which makes the atmosphere better. Authentic thai food delicious also

The choice of food in the menu is minimal but enough to choose something you Iike .The food was delicious, service from the wait staff excellent. Will definitely go back.

Fantastic food, very authentic tasting Thai plus amazing ambience good service and best of all jazz music! The decor is more of a fine dining feel.

Service was good and food was nice. I have been to Galangal on a number of occasions and it is always good as a casual neighbourhood night out.

Heard about this place from a friend and I can conclude that the food was amazing, the service was pleasent and the price was very fair. Overall it's a place I would certainly go back to and endorse.

We were greeted in a friendly manner and seated promptly. Drink orders were taken in a timely manner. A staff member was helpful when we were making selections. The dining room was busy and so noisy which made it hard for some guests to hear the conversations. Service was pleasant at all times but staff were busy and so at times we were asked the same question three times. e.g. would you like to order coffees? All the food chosen was enjoyed by each of our diners. It was as expected from the menu descriptions and the servings were appropriate. I felt it would have better if guests were given bowls rather than plates in order to contain the sauces.The bathrooms were of an average standard.

Friendly, helpful waitstaff), attractive decor & comfortable seating, delicious food, prices very reasonable, and the noise level was not a problem even though restaurant was full.

Excellent Thai cuisine. The starters were all delicious and the Thai beef carpaccio is really superb. The mains were delicious too, with the red curry duck a particular favourite.

The red duck curry was slightly creamy and extremely flavoursome. Thai food is amazing and Galangal have delivered the goods.

Beautifully presented food, hot and fresh. Attentive staff , water bottles were constantly replaced without being asked for. The bill was reasonable and toothpicks and mints were offered before departure .

Galangal is a true dining experience - the food is beautiful, the atmosphere is lovely and the service is very responsive without being intrusive. Overall - a wonderful restaurant.

So impressed! Went here on Saturday night with my partner. We had the prawns to start, the red duck curry for main and lychee martini’s. Everything was absolutely delicious and the service was incredible. We will definitely be regulars here.

Friday lunch was great with quick service and good food

The food is excellent and plentiful and the service is timely with pleasant waitresses and waiters. Anyone looking for something a bit different to the everyday Thai this is the place to go.

Service was good, not in your face too much. food was very tasty and good size portions. Quite good value considering all the positives. Will be back.

From our friendly welcome at the front door, through to front of house attentive service, table location, quality and flavours from the dishes selected it was a first class experience from start to end. The owners, chefs and staff should be commended for their efforts of a fine dining establishment. Definitely returning by month's end for a repeat of the experience.

My friend and I had dinner here on Wednesday night. Service was friendly and attentive. The food was super fresh and delicious. A very enjoyable experience.

My chef friend recommended this restaurant to me and she was right! The food was sublime, the decor very pleasant, and when I asked the waiter for a quieter table he found us a good spot. Close to perfect.

A neighbourhood gem. Great service and great food. Perfect for any occasion. The barramundi is our favourite. The menu hasn't changed in the last few years. It might be nice to offer some specials of the day, for the regulars who might like to try something a little different.

Great food. Great service. Great atmosphere. Noisy and hard to hear across table when restaurant full but as it emptied it was better. Defininetly a neighbourhood gem.

As always the food, service and ambiance was top notch. Especially the red curry with duck and lychees, and the galloping horses starter are fantastic.

Deliciously fresh and creative Thai dishes, served in an ambient setting. We loved every dish we tasted but the standout was the Red Curry Roast Duck.

Soooo yummy!! More on the pricey side but it is more of a refined menu - would definitely pay and visit again!

Delicious food and very lovely service. The spring rolls were great and the Masaman Curry was so frangrant and delicate. We would definitely eat here again.

We had an excellent evening. Great location, lots of parking over the road, super service, lovely ambience, and then there was the food. OMG, just divine. And very reasonable prices too. It's a five-star restaurant by my book.

Good and delicious food. Good average portion of size for the food. Great service. Friendly staffs. Atmosphere was awesome. Clean , very organised and classy restaurant. Recommended for who loves curry.

Overall nice meal but very disappointed to receive soggy rice, we then asked for new rice but this was not much better as they'd overcooked the current batches and at that point I didn't want to wait for a fresh batch, for what they charge would expect perfect fluffy rice.

Have been many times, always great food and great service. Highly recommend the Twice cooked pork belly and red duck curry, they are standouts. Best Thai food in Perth.

This is an excellent Thai restaurant. The food was fantastic, service was good. They allow BYO wine only but have a wine list in any case.

Our 2nd time there, food has genuine Thai flavours, menu covers a good range for choice and service by the friendly staff is great. We will be back.

The food has always been really delicious at Galangal but at my last visit I wasn't at all impressed by the service. We were virtually ignored and always had to get wait staff's attention to have our order taken and dishes removed. However, they were quite quick on asking if we needed another bottle wine ? ? ?

We loved Galangal’s old restaurant and we love their new restaurant even more. The staff are so kind, the atmosphere is awesome and the food is always AMAZING!!! So much flavour in all their dishes and everything is presented beautifully. We love taking our friends and family here on special occasions as they never leave disappointed.

Entrées were especially good. Twice cooked pork belly- the flavour and balance of the sauce was just right. But the pork itself was a bit chewy and overcooked. Skin was crispy.

The food was very good. We ordered a Massaman curry and the Thai papaya salad. Both were flavourful and the salad fresh. The ambience was pleasing and we will look at returning again.

Great service and fantastic food, the Pork Belly and Red Curry were a standout. Easy to find with carpark across the road. We will be back.
