The service was not good at all, they completely forgot about our order and when it did come it was wrong, we had one entree in an hour, just too long to wait. Didn’t even offer us any compensation at the end of the night. Food was average. Will not be returning.

I was at the Galangal restaurant for Valentine’s Day as we have visited them a few times previously. And have had a decent experience before. We arrived and ordered drinks and food. It took several minutes before the staff could get the drinks order right. The staff seemed rushed, extremely anxious and nervous, frantically darting around the seats that were crammed to take in couples who weren't there. Initial drinks order took ages to arrive, food was decent, but the coffee was forgotten, though it was ordered. The ice cream dessert was poorly presented and tasted straight out of a supermarket trolley. The restaurant was quite chaotic and noisy and made it impossible for anyone to relax. At the till we informed the staff we didn’t receive the ordered coffee which she then promptly removed from the bill. As we had ordered quite a few items, we had to resort to taking away one of the mains(beef stir fry scotch fillet) that was hardly eaten by us. ON UNPACKING THE TAKE AWAY AT HOME I WAS SHOCKED TO FIND MORE THAN 2/3rds OF THE BEEF MAINS MISSING FROM THE PACKING! It was unbelievable that a so-called average and decent restaurant would resort to blatant 'stealing' of a customer's fully paid food item between the table and the take away packing. The food was delicious but after the experience tonight we won’t be coming back again. A lot of other restaurants have delicious food and actually value their customers that dine in the restaurant. It has all the hall marks of a desperate and failing restaurant. Not long before the inevitable happens, if this trend continues is all I can say. What a shame!

Very busy on a Saturday night, noisy, waiters were overworked and rushed and food was luke warm when it got to the table. Sent it back - still lukewarm. Food was tasty and waiters did their best.

Could I please encourage you to find a way of putting soft fabric furnishings into your restaurant to reduced the overwhelming noise level. It was a busy night and buzzy atmosphere, but the noise level made it impossible for all our guests on our table to hear. How about fabric draped across the ceiling. Something please. Anna

Outstanding food they took the order unfortunately they forgot to bring out mussaman beef curry we had to cancell it as we had finished the rest of the dishes Service could have been better Would still go back as food is always amazing

The food was soooo good I feel like I’m in Bangkok. Customer service was 11/10 the staffs were so friendly and there’s no flaws or negative things about the experience at all. I really enjoyed my valentine’s dinner and will definitely come back 100%!

I'm a vegetarian so wanted to order tofu in my pad thai but the waitress said they didn't have any left. They didn't offer me any alternatives so I left the restaurant very disappointed. The prices on the menu were very expensive for what they offer for vegetarians. I would not go back again.

Loved the food. We have been here several times before. But I would like a couple more gf entrees. The soft shell crab has mint to which I am allergic, and I didn’t want papaya salad which was the only other choice. I asked for a gf stir fry as I have previously and there were no problems. A bit noisy at first but the staff were great and apologised for a bit of wait time. We will come again.

We booked late on a Sunday between Christmas and New Year. The service levels were good, attentive, friendly and prompt. The food was, as always good, however we felt it was not quite as robust as our previous visits. It was disappointing that several wines were not available from the small wine list.

No Beers or pork dish available and the food we had for Thai was sub standard. this Restaurant is not what it used to be and I would be very hesitant to recommend it.
