Fedele's Ristorante Italiano - Melbourne

The restaurant has got plenty parking spots. Serving stuff was friendly. The food was just okay. It wasn’t great but wasn’t also awful . Eatable ！ a glass wine was over $20.

I’ve been there many times and it’s always been fairly good. This time unfortunately that was not the case. The main complaint was the luck of service even though the restaurant wasn’t that busy. Almost ten in our group some people waited 20 and 30 minutes for their first drink. It was 1.5hrs before we sighted the menus. After that things started to improve. The meals were ok and everyone was fine with what they ordered. However, for what you pay you expect better service than that. There is a lot of room for improvement.

Entree pork was nice but small Risotto was fairly standard Duck was A grade amazing Caramel desert beautiful Staff fantastic - atmosphere a little noisy Overall wife And I enjoy prob 20-30 too expensive but we will return

Lovely ambience and food, however our entrees/starters took ages to be served and only appeared after we followed up. Disappointing as it was a quiet night and our table of 8 was 50% of the clientele!

It was not good night . Service was poor . We had to ask to get water had to ask to get drinks . We had to ask for menu . Then waited 1 hour for entre and so night went . It wasn’t full . And we was the last to leave . . And the food was ok

Food is always amazing at this place. Only negative was drinks were slow in being served. Atmosphere is also lovely

The calamari entree was soft and tender and tasted great, but for $29 there were only four rings of calamari. The pastas seemed short on flavour. Price of pasta ok but I would not buy again due to the sauce was ordinary and the huge chunks of zucchini seemed completely raw and the ration seemed off. Probably had 30% of the bowl was raw zucchini. The atmosphere is warm and inviting but meals let the place down due to ordinary taste. For the price, I wanted a better cooked meal and more flavour.

Was a nice restaurant to take international colleagues to. It was quite noisy but this is what you expect when out at dinner. Staff were amazing.

We loved everything about Fedele's. Food was great, we enjoyed everything we had. The service was fabulous. Attention to detail was excellent.

We were rather disappointed with the menu (it differed quite a bit from the menu advertised on the web). Some of our meals were very good, the Salmon and the Lamb Shank meals were very enjoyable; however the Gnocchi with Waggu meatballs meal was only just warm and the meatballs were not cooked through. The other pasta meal, Tortalini, was again only warm. On such a cold evening a hot meal would have been appreciated much more! We were surprised that there were a number of empty tables when normally the restaurant is usually very busy. The number of staff working was minimal which added to the very slow service. The staff that were working were very pleasant but spread too thin.

Good experience. The duck meal was a little too small for an adult.

I have been coming to this restaurant for more than 30 years and it never disappoints. I have had family milestones over the years, great people, great food, easy to park. A winner.

we went for Lunch. Service was very good but considering there were few guests, it took an extraordinary amount of time for the food to reach the table. We ordered Arancini Balls, Calamari & Porterhouse steak. All well presented & cooked perfectly. A most enjoyable meal but certainly not "cheap eats". Recommended!

The food was delicious and the choice of drinks were great. I didn't like the amount of dishes with mushrooms and brussel sprouts though. The service wasn't fabulous either. Slow at times and we had to call the waiting staff. We had to ask for several things to be collected when empty from our table. Then the waiter dropped a spoon and nearly dropped dessert. Would return but probably overall 7/10.

Loved the food and coffee except my pasta was on the cool side and then they charged for my friends coffee when it was supposed to be included in the price as she never had a separate drink also added extra on for her fish but didn’t tell her

Great food and service with a large wine selection in an atmosphere which is quiet and conversation friendly.

Place was a little loud and very busy, but that was expected on Mothers Day. We have the Mothers Day 3 course set menu, which was great value. Portion sizes were ideal not over filling and a great variety to choose from. High praise to the staff on very busy day.

This is always a great place for excellent Italian food. I've been going here for what seems like forever, and it's never disappointed.

The wine prices detracted from good value as 2 glasses of Prosecco & 2 small chianti were 42% of total bill.

Not enough veg options, penne pasta was not good at all, gnocchi and tiramisu were ok but nothing out of the ordinary.

Dessert took a while to come and madeleines were not fresh. Other food was very very good. Very nice ambience but profitability should be limited to the great food and not corkage. Felt corkage was excessive. It becomes a disincentive to dine there.

This is a most underutilized restaurant, and sad to see it not being customized. The crappy Victorian economy has certainly intruded into this wonderful restaurant.
