El Toucan South Central

Great first up experience of the restaurant though it was a little tricky to get to as the address that came up on my booking sent me to a Mexican restaurant 50mts down the road.

Toucan Colombian Food is a fantastic spot for real Colombian flavors! The empanadas, ceviche chicharrón, cazuela mariscos and bandeja paisa were delicious and authentic, and the staff was super friendly. Perfect place for a taste of Colombia!

Food was excellent! We visited on a Monday, so it wasn't busy, but it was still a nice ambience. Portions are large and tasty! We were waited on by Luciano who was generous with information about the different dishes.

First time eating here but absolutely loved it great food great customer service will be back again if we are back in Melbourne

Waiting staff was great, very knowledgeable of the menu. Service from the kitchen was slow. The food was ok and overpriced. Two people $130: one main, one juice and one desert each.

Luciano was a fantastic host, a real good person with a genuine smile, and care for customer service, not many if any are up to his standard.. the food was amazing but the hero was the Chef special Cevechè de chicharron entree, I would eat this for the rest of my life.. mil gracias.

No BYO, they didn't answer the phone or have a message bank to leave a number. I called to enquire if they were BYO or licensed but I couldn't find out, even on their website. I would not recommend them at all.

Friendly and excellent service. Very good quality food, meats extremely tender. Good value for money. I went with my Colombian partner whose face told the story after her meal.... A face of contentment.

Awesome, tasty and very authentic Colombian food! All dishes we tried were well presented and just so yummy!! Highly recommended!

My Indian friend was quite happy with the food even when he does not pork or fish still plenty of choices. The 3 milk cake was outstanding.

They advertised alcohol was available online and is even on their menu. When we arrived we were told they didn’t serve alcohol.

We spend around 15 minutes waiting for someone to take the order so we looked for the waitress, then the food was very regular, and at the end it took them 20 minutos to clean the table after we finished the meal (I had to asked them again to do it) at the end we ordered 4 juices, another 20 minutos. Sadly, first and last time.

Amazing food. Pandeja Paisa was delicious took me back home
