El Karim

El Karim is always a delight to visit- lovely staff who serve you SO efficiently and always with lovely smiles; the food is delicious and the specials are definitely worth trying. The restaurant is on our ‘go regularly list. We also know people who say it’s ‘the best Lebanese restaurant around’!

Amazing, delicious food. Would have liked to try all of it but couldn’t eat any more .. maybe a platter with a little of everything would be good for a booking for a few people.. otherwise it was a lovely evening with delicious food

Delicious, but next time I would stick to sharing more starters and sides, and maybe half or fewer (enormous) mains. We took food home.

Our first experience of the new menu was great with excellent flavours

Fast and friendly service. Loved the fried cauliflower and special lamb homous dish -delicious.

7 of us dined on a Saturday night. Noisy restaurant with pleasant decor. Food was tasty and service reasonable. Bowls were the best. Our major complaint was that pita bread serves are too skimpy. On balance a nice cuisine with friendly staff.

We love going to El Karim and usually go early because both the men in our group of four have hearing difficulties and we want to get there before the usual crowd. Service is always excellent and the food is sublime.

Would be a really good idea to have a "mixed dip" plate. Single dips are too big and too much of one thing and $10 each! Please consider.

Very loud children at big table, but we were dining at 6.15pm

We were charged for haloumi chips, which we ordered but they never gave them to us. Check your bill carefully before you pay. There are 3 wines and 3 beers to choose from and apart from daily specials there are 2 types of main meals with a variety of side dishes and salads. Acoustics multiplied the noise.

Great food, service a bit slow at the start but definitely picked up.

A little unsure when we arrived as the waiting staff seemed to be a little out of control but everyone was very friendly and the food was great. Had a pleasurable evening.

Very average food and overpriced Salad had no seasoning and no dressing, the sambusik was below average and nothing like the lamb with pine nuts, one skewer cost $23.00 - ridiculous. I eat at many other Lebanese restaurants and they serve 2 skewers for that price. Very dissatisfied.

We had to ask twice for some water and to order our dinner. When ordering from the specials menu the waiter said they no longer had one of the dishes. Why not tell us that as we were seated? The meal itself was tasty.

The food was good although the portions are relatively modest compared to other Lebanese restaurants we have eaten at. The specials and lamb kofta were excellent. A good neighbourhood option though.

We absolutely loved the baba ganouj and lamb shish. A delicious dinner.

The mezze were great and the service was lovely. Mains were somewhat average. But the biggest issue is the 3% Visa credit card surcharge automatically applied to the bill!

The meal was delicious service good so definitely would recommend this restaurant
