The food was nice but inconsistent. Meat was not cooked to preference (medium rare) and items were substituted but we were not told of this i.e. chicken on the menu but received ribs. Great service as always.

Cold meat and undercooked chicken, too cold inside the restaurant and cocktail arrived at the middle of the food. Not enough feeling for the empanadas, cold bread, fresh sauces too little, sauces in jars not good, excellent salad!

Service was lovely, room we were in was cosy, Most of the food was good, unfortunately sweet potato fries were burnt!

We had a disappointing experience on our first visit to the restaurant. Unfortunately, after we had sat down and given our order we were told that they did not have any meat due to a supplier issue. That was the main reason we wanted to try El Asador. Whilst we understand these things happen, we were disappointed that we were not called before we came or at least told as we walked in and before we sat down. Our waitress was very apologetic and we felt very sorry for her as she was doing the best she could. We decided to leave and we may one day try again.

Delicious food and lovely staff. Price are befitting with the quality of the food. Nice environment.

All members of the members commented on how much they enjoyed the food, including the entrée breads and dips (chimicurri yeah!). Good authentic South American experience, friendly and chilled ambience. We will be back!!

It was out first visit and we totally enjoyed the whole evening. Couldn't find a fault with anything. Will definitely recommend.

Waitress was really lovely and attentive. Atmosphere was calm and welcoming. Loved seeing some locals coming in and chatting away to the owner in the outdoor area in Spanish. Food is to die for!! We had the “completo” and the rump cap. Both seasoned to perfection mmmmm mmmm!!!

Food for all was very dry. For the price we were expecting better quality food. Best part was the chips.

The food was bland and needed seasoning, entres were cold, meat was tough, soft tacos were stale and dry. Toilet hand tea towel was black with dirt. We eat out alot and would love to see more small family busineses thrive. I hope this little restaurant makes the changes to grow. Maybe we just went on a bad night. Sad face! Good luck.

The food was very dried out and bland, it didn’t seem fresh and tasted like it was frozen. A bit disappointing as it wasn’t like that last time we went.

I had expected food to the level of what was served at their food stall at the Leederville street food nights but in a sit down setting. The meats were not as juicy as what I’ve tried before and flavours were a bit short. The dessert cake with dulche leche was still solidly cold in the middle as if recently taken out of the deep fridge. There were a lot of tables in the back room (only two). Service was friendly but slow.

Very friendly and helpful staff and the food was excellent!

The meat platter was disappointing in terms of the amount of food. Some meats were somewhat fatty rather than having meat on them. Salads were also disappointing in taste and presentation. Desserts looked great.
