good restaurant and pleasant staff. good views as wellin the city
We booked a table for dinner only to get there and discover it was closed. Not impressed at all especially as we spent $20 on a taxi to get there!
Good views, lovely big round tables. Duck banquet very good, price reasonable
We had a poor experience at Dragonboat. The food was good but the service was poor they ran out of dumplings, the drinks took forever to get to us and the service was unattended. we usually have great service but this time was crap. will not be returning again.
Good location, great food but atmosphere a little disappointing especially for an Australian day
Staff very serious and unfriendly. Food was stale. Overall not that great.
Waitress didn't look terribly happy on our arrival. A simple smile would have made a more pleasant experience. She didn't smile even once during our whole meal. She accidentally spilled a soft drink and again spilled some water from a dish she was taking away and on both spill occasions she didn't bother to wipe the mess away to clean up. There were some egg shell fragments in our fried rice. We had the Peking Duck Banquet which included 'Dessert of the Day' which was disappointingly just sliced watermelon. Overall the duck was nice but unfortunately the service wasn't up to minimum customer service standards. I hope management addresses these shortcomings if they wish to have customers return to their establishment for repeat business.
A very pleasant dining experience at Dragon Boat. We had a nice view over the harbour. Service was friendly, quick and attentive. We didn’t have to wait long for our orders to be brought out. The quality and freshness of the food was above average. Highly recommended and I’ll definitely be back.
We had a great view from our table. We were served straight away. Very impressed with the Peking duck package. One of the kitchen staff even carved the duck at our table for our Peking duck crepes. The san chow bau was divine. The duck was lovely however lots of bones (which is to be expected), the fried rice was nice however my husband is allergic to prawns & we didn’t think to ask without them. The watermelon slices for our surprise dessert, surely was a surprise.
Over priced, horrible customer service, will never visit again, purly tourists trap
Great food. Excellent Peeking Duck. Veer good service...enjoyed the experience.
Food was great and served quickly , service was OK.
The food is good for value and the service is good.
Terrible service. Food was ok. Wasn’t impressed at all. No table staff either assigned to our table so there was no clearing of plates or asking for drinks
Took along time to get served. Food was great, thanks.
The dishes are good, and only the tining of service is to be improved.
I had a great experience. I'm sure will come back soon.
The Peking Duck banquet special was nice but next time I look forward to trying the broader menu
Great food and good service and views. Would recommend this restaurant.
Food and service was very average. Been there before and it was great, but time not so good. Won't be going back, sad.
Great food, good service and nice atmosphere. Enjoyable night and would recommend.
The tofu vegetable dish was nice, the Waiter was a bit nervous due to his first, but very nice guy. Enjoyed my dinner there.
Very happy with the food and service very nice people
The food was pretty good. Customer service was not bad although I found the manager abit rude
Other foods were good except boiled fish with chinese pickles. It has stong spices which taste very bitter, spicy.
Good roast duck dinner! We will definitely visit again soon!
Very enjoyable dining experience for a party of 10. The staff were extremely efficient and very friendly and a big thankyou to Jamie who assisted us with our menu choices.
Totally disappointed!! We had to keep asking when will we receive our meals? We ended up being there for 2 hours and we still didn’t receive all our food. We ended up leaving requesting a discount and letting them know l will not return again. They lost a customer here. I’ve had bad service before but this really top it. They weren’t even that busy.
Lunch special prices is ok, but expensive for evening meals
Great for groups during weekday lunch. Not busy. Wide range of options in the menu. Service was fast and efficient. Value for money.
Nice view but service wasn’t good and food was average
The head waiter was super grumpy to start with - when we asked to order drinks we got a 'i am busy you have to wait' rather than sending one of the other 6 staff who were there. He didn't make us feel welcome at all. It was almost like he was doing us a favour by letting us eat there. The other staff were great.
Waiters are friendly and helpful. Atmosphere nice and spacious. Food tasty
the restaurant was hosting a private function which covered almost all but 2 inside tables. we only discovered that when we went for our dinner. the private function speeches were on loud speaker and the guests were also very loud. we could not hear ourselves or the wait staff because of the noise. the remaining tables were separated by a screen which made the place very dark and limited harbour views. we cancelled our booking as the place was then no longer suitable for a relaxed dinner with views.
Wonderful time! The food was great and so was the staff. I would definitely visit there again. Very nice view as well. We had a great time.
Private function was on and no phone call to advise if we would like to change our booking. We were stuck in the back corner with cleaning products and where extra furniture is stacked. We asked if they could accommodate us elsewhere and the manager simply brushed us off and said no and walked away. We had no choice but to walk out and take our business elsewhere. I left feeling that because we were not chinese we didn't matter. This is not on, we live in Australia and we all have a right to the same treatment. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Great banquet options and service for our office Christmas party. Facilities were clean and food was excellent. Would visit again and recommend for another event.
Beautiful!! Today we enjoyed a fanastic mean at the Dragon Boat Chinese restaurant. The service and the food were second to none. We will most certainly return. Thank you everyone who served us.
Food was ok. Staff friendly and helpful. I would have been disappointed if I had paid full price for Peking duck. While it was tasty, not very much food.
Excellent service and great food Everything was fresh and very tasty. We had a great table by the window and were able to watch the fireworks from our seats Thanks for a fantastic night
Thanks for being so accommodating to us! We had to change our booking time and you were fine with that and also brought out candles for our birthday cake!
The food too salty, and the customer services is very bad. From the reception staff to the lady who serve us, all giving an unwelcome’s faces.
Excellent services. The restaurant was packed for a private function but the manager still managed to accommodate us in a lovely corner, with a spectacular view of Darling Harbour.
I use the coupon for a Pekingduck meal. Food is very good and the service is ok It has a waterfront view of the Darling Harbour
It was a first time try of Peking duck and it blew me away with how good it tasted and the overall experience was fantastic.
Wouldn’t recommend at all. Staff completely rude and unprofessional. After 1 hours waiting for our food, half of our meals arrived and the other half the waiter simply forgot to order. They completely ignored us. Was an embarrassing meal since I toke some overseas friends.
Food is above average, we ordered a dried abalone, a steam fish, pipis with deep fried vermicelli, a dish of pork and steam oysters. Other than the dried abalone is too hard to cut and consume (not to my mum's liking), the rest are all above average and the fish is really fresh. In terms of atmosphere, can't ask for more since we were there on Saturday night and there is fireworks at 8.30pm. Only down point is the captain was a bit pushy to get the order done but I just can't decided in his allowance of time, if he would be in a better manner, everything would just be perfect.
The food was superb, the views of Darling Harbour spectacular, especially at night and the staff where attentive with out being overly so. Thank you to Dragon Boat
We enjoyed all the food but strongly recommend the salt and pepper tofu. The dishes came promptly to the table and the staff were very friendly and helpful as well. With such a good view as well as such good food, including plenty of vegetarian options, it is a great place to take visitors.
Plenty of good food with friendly and helpful staff all served at a balcony table which overlooked Darling Harbour with Vivid light show and fireworks to top of a good night
