Visiting from Melbourne and every time we have to have a meal here. Food is delicious and the portions are generous. Prices are reasonable value for money highly recommended
Great food , staff service is second to none , family friendly, quick service, the food brought memories back from Sri Lanka trip
Service was very poor. Our order was delayed due to a mess up so all our food (entree and main) came at once. We had emptied our left over food into take way containers provided by staff but then our tables were left with plates and cutlery (even though all staff members walked by multiple times) for an extended period of time. 3 different staff members came to ask us about our dessert order. We suggest each staff member have an allocated table/area to manager to avoid confusion, delayed orders and cleaning tables to improve customer service quality. The food we ordered was average (would have liked more chilli and heat from traditional spices) The Watalappan, Falooda and Masala Chai were exceptional and were our favourite menu items.
Great Food and Friendly service Authentic Sri Lankan Food and we will be back
Great food and very good value. The masala dosa was the favourite for our group.
Dish is transporting me to Sri Lanka I love it 🤗
Amazing taste and flavour. Will go again soon. I can't wait to bring friends and family here for dinner.
Great atmosphere, the spicy smells were all around and reminded me of being in Sri Lanka. The food was delicious and the staff great. However the staff were very busy because the place was packed and there were also takeaway orders and they still got all our food out really seamlessly! I really felt for them, as it was so hot on Sat night and working in an even hotter kitchen would have been very hard. Thank you for a great evening.
Great vibe and excellent range of Sri Lankan street food. Enjoyed by all of us.
Decent food , no frills, inexpensive and service good too
It took a while for our order to be taken but once it was in the food came out in good time. Always delicious with lots of interesting choices eg hoppers, dosa, biryani, curries. Recommend! I always choose to sit outside, even though it is on the footpath, because inside is very hot.
Amazing and authentic flavours at this little suburban knockout of a restaurant. Give it a try and you won’t regret it
Nice restaurant, nice food and nice people. I would go again
Excellent food as before but service needs to be sorted as waiting time is huge while they struggle with takeaway demand. Also FIX THE KITCHEN VENTILATION SYSTEM BEFORE PEOPLE SUFFOCATE
We arrived on time. Had to wait over 30 minutes to have our order taken and then they wanted to throw us out 40 minutes later for another booking. If you are going to have two sittings you need to be capable of serving them.
Eagerly anticipated dinner however the dishes did not come up to my expectation Black pork curry was ok coconut sambol was very mild Liked the fish curry and the authentic wattallappam Will visit again to try other dishes
This is a lovely restaurant, the food is good and genuine. The service can be a little bit chaotic - but it is sincere. For the right 'night out' it can be fantastic! Genuine, sincere, friendly and delicious.
Dishes ordered were delicious and service was excellent. An enjoyable evening.
Always good Sri Lankan food here. While friendly the service is often hit and miss
Incredible food. Lovely people. Highly recommend this, especially as it is BYO!
Food is always good but I prefer old menu which contains more pics
Great food. The service needs a bit of work. The lady that served us needs more training. The roof out the front was leaking due to the rain which is not the restaurant fault at all, but maybe consider getting a ladder and cleaning the dead leaves that may have piled up which would have caused the water to not over run over the gutter, hence the issue of the bad leak. The Indian man who served us at the end was lovely and friendly. Please fix the air-conditioning. It does get super hot indoors, hence we took the opportunity to move outdoors. Otherwise, great food and location! We will be back!
The food was amazing, the service was great and definitely going back.
Recommend this place highly to everyone here. The food was amazing!
Food is always delicious! We visited this place so many times and never got disappointed. People are very friendly and helpful
We love the food. Wonderfully authentic, bringing back memories of our travels to Sri Lanka. The staff are friendly and the service excellent. Thsnk you!
There are few sri lankan restaurants in Sydney and to have one which serves its authentic food is brilliant. The food was exceptional. The atmosphere is lively and colourful. Looking forward to returning.
Great value for money, delicious food and chill space! Will be back
A few small areas for improvement: Expensive for the quality and quantity of food (~22 very average fried whitebait for $22 for example). Roti was also dry and average, compared with a previous occasion wherein it was amazing. Table was also incompletely wiped down, and plates were wet. Otherwise mains were quite tasty. Unlikely to return.
Great food. Service was slow but an enjoyable night. Will go again
