Food was lovely. Service was a bit slow due to the cricket being cancelled and lots of people turning up. Staff were great. Would definitely return
Amazing as always ! Our go to restaurant where we always enjoy the food, ambience and excellent service from professional and friendly management and staff. If you haven't tried it yet you are missing an enjoyable dining experience.
Very Sad, Fri lunch we were the only customers. Staff as expected were over attentive. Decor is lovely, 30 degrees all windows open, very very warm, waiter got my Wifes order wrong, so I ate while they corrected it. Menu gave a vegetarian option of Tempe (Tofu) however this was not available. No vegetarian options. No sparkling wine by the glass, no ambience while the buses and trucks roar by on Logan Road.
Amazing service, beautiful food and had a great experience! Will be making a new regular
Order the seafood for two which was very good. But given you need to crack crabs open. Most restaurants supply a towels or a bowl of lemon water to wash clean your hands with after.
Great food and service and beautiful space. Glad we chose Coco Gabba.
What a lovely atmosphere, excellent food and great staff. The attention to detail was good
That was a great customer service and excellent food experience
Great food, good atmosphere and excellent service. Will be back to try out more of the menu 👍🏼😁
The restaurant was quiet and great for catch up with friends so we can chat. Service was a bit slow even though it's not busy
Very unorganised. No cash in till for change. Way too long to order. Received main meal and nearly finished before receiving garlic bread. When ordering drinks had to continually say what I wanted - only 2 drinks. Beer was not cold.... was replaced when complaint made. Had salad with meal or can I say lettuce with a strip of carrot and onion...very poor. Will not go back
Really good food, very nice staff/service. Forgot one of the meals. Overall, a good experience.
We had to ask for our meals several times ~ table 17 ~ garlic bread only came out after we asked for it twice ~ some our meals were over ~ 3 meals were delivered over an hour ~ very stressful :( 😩
Service was slow even though we were there only customers. Barramundi was overcooked. Potato mash was tough. Manager was very friendly but the staff and food didn't make up for it unfortunately.
It was game day so understandably staff were prepping for a busy night. Our menus were printed sheets but one menu only had one page while the other had 2 pages stapled together, I don't know if we were given the full menu but we ordered, our order was delivered in great time but the 2x steaks - one med rare and one med. Both were well over cooked. Our son ordered the Angus burger and that was a better option. The staff were clearly over whelmed but still managed a smile so props to them but a tip would be to stock your bar area watching a staff member make several trips to the kitchen area just for cans of drink was not a great look.
Food took forever, no salt and pepper at table or a steak knife for the steak. Small portions and didn’t get the food asked for.
Firstly we ordered entree and my meal ( which I thought was like a kids meal) came out. No one else received their meals. I went and asked a waiter if he could come and see if I had a kids meal. He confirmed it was. He then came out with everyone else’s and my meal. I had fish which was dry, salad dressing was bitter, son had ribs which were chewy, hubby had schnitzel which wasn’t bad but wasn’t great and my sons partner also had schnitzel which was the same as my husbands. Would we go again to this restaurant- answer would be no! When I paid the waiter asked how was our meals and I told him I wasn’t happy with mine as I found the fish tasteless. He commented that no one else had complained about fish. He gave me a 15% discount.
Exceptional service as soon as we arrived the quality of food and beverages were very pleasing. I will definitely take my family of 16 there again . You won’t be disappointed
Great spot for a pre footy bite, beverage and catch up.
We enjoyed a fabulous lunch today at Coco Gabba, not realising it was match day. We had a Groupon voucher and the manager went out of his way to be very helpful and accommodating, even though it should have been a restricted menu on game day. All the food we had was gluten free and so delicious - fried cauliflower, spichy chicken wings and crispy barramundi. He also managed to get us a crème brûlée and panacotta. It was all delicious and the service was excellent. We’ll be back!
Lovely venue and great food and staff. Very accommodating even on a busy night
We had a very enjoyable lunch. Food was really nice and service was excellent. We will definitely be visiting again. Nice venue and very comfortable.
I don’t like that I had to pay more because it was game night. Service was also very poor and we weren’t told that table service for the bar was ending / offered a last round before they stopped the table service
Excited expectations fell short both in ambience and food quality
Great food with tasty food and the staff were helpful and friendly
Food was delicious and service was outstanding. We will definitely come back.
Lovely food. I had the Parma which was fresh and tasty. Partner had steak which was perfectly cooked. Large portions, neither could finish our meals. Service is impeccable. Really great stop for a meal prior to football at the Gabba.
We enjoyed our meals and service was great. We’ll go again.
Fantastic service and beautiful, fresh food! Good value for money.
It was a game night, so we missed dessert due to wait times before the game. Lucky for us they were still open after and we got our dessert! The service is ALWAYS amazing. Busy, quiet, makes no difference.
Exemplary service. The staff create such a warm environment. They make you fell like you are visiting family from the moment you are greeted on entrance. Above and beyond. The food was delicious. Seafood with a spicy edge followed by a speciality cocktail and yummy dessert. Warm and fuzzies for me
The adjacent table occupants were very noisy but enjoying themselves
At least the beer was cold. Service was woeful. 45 min wait for food. Burger was almost raw in the middle. Hot chips were cold. Seafood pasta was barely edible. We both left most of our meal uneaten. Maybe the worste run restaurant I have ever been too.
This was our third visit Coco Gabba and I am sorry to say our least enjoyable. The Prawn Curry was lacking in the stated seasonal vegetables and had a mere five prawns. Not entirely suited to a main meal. However on prior visits the Steak and the Beef burger were definitely hitting the mark. Tonight the staff were managing the best they could on a very busy evening prior to the football.
Sat and waited almost an hour after ordering. Could not get an answer about what was happening. Ended up leaving before meals came because we wete going to football and there was no way meals would arrive and be consumed before the bounce. Seemed there was an issue in the kitchen. Meals coming out 1 dish at a time. Some tables had individuals with meals while others at the same table continued to wait. Was a real mess.
Had a wonderful lunch today with the food delicious and also very generous serving size. The service was also very good. Will definitely recommend this restaurant for a nice meal. Also had great 80’s music😆😋👍
Outstanding food and service at very reasonable prices. Lovely owners and staff.
Our go to for Saturday night dinner, always amazing food and professional, friendly staff Huge thanks.
This restaurant seems to have an identity crisis. It looks like a seafood place, promotes a few Sri Lankan dishes but also has parmys and other pub type food. Whilst no one sent their food back on our table, no one had anything positive to say about it- just ok. Service appeared fine but when we reflected it took too long for our drinks, we weren’t given/offered water when we sat down. This restaurant was mainly empty whilst others around it were heaving. I wouldn’t recommend.
Celebrating my birthday lunch. Very welcoming staff, atmosphere is lovely and clean, Food was delicious and moktail was yummy.
Grateful that Coco Gabba was open on Good Friday. The staff were busy but unfailingly polite. All the food was delicious—special mention of the tender calamari. When the house wine I wanted had run out, they offered an alternative at the same price. We were made to feel very welcome.
My friend and I went to this restaurant tonight. Nice restaurant and nice music. The food tasted amazing with super nice presentation and the service was top-notch. The gentleman who served us was very kind and polite. I’ll definitely recommend it to anyone.
Everything so good, would be perfect if not for music
Just ok. Just average nothing too great. Overall glad we been
Good food good service good price Friendly staff, yes we would go again
We made a last minute reservation and were greeted by the happy and charming staff. We were looked after very weill with prompt drinks and starters - the scallops were lovely and the Cauliflower was spectacular. The ribs were amazing, as was the chicken BBQ schnitty. The Taro panacotta was out of this world and I wish I had room for more than one! All in all, great atmosphere, comfortable seating, friendly, charming service and brilliant food! We will definately be back! Thanks Coco Gabba!
