Booked Ciccio's Pizza to celebrate my husband's birthday for a group of 12 people. Having been there many times I know the place very well. I knew the owner Andrea was away. but that didn't bother me. What disappointed me was the service from the waitress on the night...she shouldn't be there! Her rudeness and tone of voice, left us all surprised. After ordering a few antipasto boards and using the plates given to us, we asked for clean plates for our pizzas. This didn't go well with the waitress who said we still had pizza to come. Some of the plates had olive pips and food scraps on them, therefore a clean plate was needed. She rudely took all the dirty plates and came back with clean plates for our pizza. I watched her take the dirty plates out the back and place them in the dishwasher. The way she carried on, you would think she had to wash them by hand. The waitress did not speak all night after that! We ate our pizzas and left. This was the first time at this place that the service was disappointing. I feel the owner needs to know this, as it is his business that will suffer because patrons do not want to be served in this manner. It really ruined our night as I could tell my husband was taken aback at the way he was spoken to. He even went as far to say to her "no need to get angry" to which she just ignored him. We just all looked at each other. Hopefully this waitress moves on to another career path...waitressing is not for her!
